@@lilbabybudgie the zero cycle is a way to kill the dragon immediately instead of waiting for it to perch. “Back” refers to the dragon being in the back of the end island, which is harder because it takes longer to get there. “1/8” refers to the dragon flying to the middle tower, which has a 1/8 chance of happening, and is harder because he has to bridge out instead of just climbing the tower. “Caged” means that the platform he spawned in was encased in end stone, making it harder to get the the right place in time. If doogile hadn’t gotten to the spot, built the setup, and started exploding beds in time, the dragon would’ve flown away and the end fight would’ve been slower. All of those combined lead to one of the hardest zero cycle scenarios, and he did it on one of the fastest paces ever and made it look easy. Truly impressive.

You can speedrun pretty much any seed when you have insane mechanics, no matter how bad it can get, but if you get the best seed in the universe and barely know how to beat the ender-dragon, it serves literally no purpose. Getting a WR already involves more luck though, but mechanics are by far the most important, and that run proves it btw

minemanner isnt that good compared to doogile, doogile has spent much more time perfecting his mechanics in the extreemly difficult aspects of the game, while minemanner cant bridge, speedrun, or even play bedwars well.

It's been two years since the last time I watched minecraft videos, somehow my algorithm remembered that and recommended this. Insane how much speedruns have evolved. The first sub 10 was groundbreaking and now a 7:51 is only a PB?? wow
This run was actually so lucky glad it payed off all your hard work but this run proofs that sub 7 is possible if he didn't have to dig in the nether to make the portal he would've saved about a minute and with that minute this run would've been a sub 6 wr
@@YeaaaYTno if you do the calculations he wasted nearly 1.30m digging in the nether to make the second portal and enterd at 6.26m so technically if there wasn t any bad terrain he would've entered the stronghold at 5.26m so technically it would've been a 6.51m WR or even less or mayby a bit more like 6.55 but I don't think it was gonna be a sub 8.

This definitely deserves the wr for the best played ever speedrun: from the fact that he decided just to not make an axe to being able to get into the blind coordinates even after getting donutwalled and pulling off a back 1/8 zerocycle spawning in a deep endstone cage while being chased by a big black man he just looked in the eyes makes this run absolutly hilarous

Everyone is talking about time lost here and there but ive not seen anyone mention the 15 seconds lost at 4:55 to get the pearl from the bottom of the ocean and come back. Do you ever need 12 of those to open the portal ? I feel like theres always at least 1-2 pearls ready on the portal.
there is a 10% chance for a portal frame to already have one eye. So there is a ~70% chance for one of the 12 frames to already have one eye. But he might have grabbed the eye he threw habitually because when you have 20 obsidian and are at a blaze spawner, people leave the nether with less than 6 blaze rods.
