Hi Jeff~ I love so much of what you present, 100%, and for a few years. I am looking for a resource that does NOT always come back to breathe, as I have a few clients that are on oxygen, and breath is a real source of difficulty. Perhaps in time the breath, and dying, could be a resource, but not today. I'm wondering if we can feel this out? Any suggestions?
Why not create one yourself? Focus on the senses. If the eyes are closed are there colours or images in the minds eye? Are there any smells they can hear? Anything they can taste? What about sensations? The temperature of the room and the air on their skin. The feeling of their clothes touching their skin. The feeling of their body on the floor or their sit bones on their chair. The feeling of gravity drawing them down in to the support of the floor or chair beneath them. There might be gurgling in the digestive system or other sensations around the body. Letting them all be. What about the sounds in the room….or outside the room…away in the distance perhaps. Aware of any thoughts entering the mind and acknowledging them but letting those thoughts pass you by for now. Let them come and let them go. Just being here now. Being in the role of the observer. Watching, listening, allowing…just being here. Being rather than doing anything. Letting it all be. Not trying to change this moment. That sort of thing? Make your own. You know best what your clients need and need to hear. Trust yourself.
