First time seeing "امبلى" ... From which phrase is it derived ? When can we use it ? What's the literal meaning ?

It’s derived from the word بلى (in fusha) which means =Yes
بَلى(In fusha)/اِمبَلى (In dialect)
Are using to answer negative question.
ما أكلتِ؟ امبلى أكلتExample
You didn’t eat? Yes i ate
