I have learned arabic gramer and under the heading there is a subject of sarf under which we study ثلاثي مجرد و مزيد فيه now this is my first video practicing and in first line i got confused . مازِلتَ . I double check on internet it comes from يفاعِلُ فاعَل . Mazilta is clearly past tense . Can you help me with that why it is مازِلتَ instead of مازَلتَ? Am i missing something out?

Do you plan to prepare more videos in the Syrian dialect? I would suggest creating ones with slightly more complicated sentences for those who have some prior knowledge.
