Great interface because of simplicity for beginners or hobbyist for sure!!! I like it because of budget price and in this price bracket, it’s an interface with no latency!!! Great video as always👍🏻
Fifine continues elevating their game. Wonder what the next gen of SC3 will be since it seems like the Ampligame line won't be going away anytime soon. Hoping that the new latency free monitoring makes its way over and maybe software to customize the sound board rather than the finicky recording and subpar output. Maybe bumping it closer to $100 could get them there. I'd love 24 bit/96Khz but also know that we're looking at low barrier of entry.
A thorough and helpful review video! Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts on this BM88 boom arm and the FIFINE SC1 Audio Mixer. I am very delighted that this boom arm impresses you. That really encourages us a lot to produce more quality equipment!!😆
Love the boom arm, I'm getting one whenever my cheapo Neewer dies (altho it has survived 3 years with a King Bee hanging off it...) re the interface, I do love a company that actually listens to its customers
You may want to check out the note I just posted - what timing! This boom's specs states it can support 3.3 lbs, whereas the King Bee II weighs in at a hefty 3.5 lbs. Something to be aware of.
Articulating ball head. Amazing phrase. Whats that little bar light on the desk? That looks cool! Glad the got the no latency monitoring figured out! Welcome back!
Cheap little usb light bar that gives me light from underneath the chins to blend with my overhead light. spinny ball thingy was also in consideration as a phrase
If i had to go with a low profile boom I would actually go with elgato same with the high profile because the features impressed me but fifine did a good job
That boom arm looks intriguing - thx. Their website says it will support up to 3.3 lbs, so it should support the SM7b just fine (2.7 lbs.). But, if you want to use something more hefty like a Neat King Bee II (3.5 lbs), it will test its limits. The challenge I have with those types of booms is my desk has a glass top. Not the end of the world, but does present another layer of consideration.
Guil, you are such a good dude. For us to have a few twitter convos, then an online collab, I sure do enjoy you as a human more than most people I know WAY better lol.
@@ObscureMics thanks for the kind words! I genuinely love your stuff. There’s always some knowledge and a laugh in the video but most importantly, authenticity.
man, wish these Budget Setups were around when i started recording audio in 2016.
noooo doubt. We have so many more options now.

I watched yours too and nodded my head the whole time "Yes mike, I agree...yep, yep, nailed it Mike"
😅🤣
I need one for my Hammond organ. I use a mic as a talk back only for our IEM's

Spot on. I HOPE they continue to evolve and make better stuff even if it means slight price increases

Yeah I want to believe they put this out as a response to folks not liking the latency in past releases.

Hey…. You got things going. Great work in there! You did a nice job with both items, too. Thanks for the video!!
Thanks for watching another one!

@@ObscureMics you made the right choice. Lol
All you need is FIFINE Gaming Headset.

If i had to go with a low profile boom I would actually go with elgato same with the high profile because the features impressed me but fifine did a good job
I'll have to look into the elgato

As much as i loved my minifuse 1 I wish this came out a year ago when i was looking for cheap audio interface
The minifuse does seem great
Amazing video as always! I was wondering if you would take a look at the Boya BM58, it seems like a nice shure competitor
I did not know that mic existed...which is rare lol. I will reach out and try to get one
@@ObscureMics yo thanks my guy, I'll be sure to watch the video if it comes out.
I'd call it the Shack of Systematic Chaos, but that would be too long. Shit Shack is fine.
Also, nice review as always, Brother Bark!
Thank you Brother Carlos!
I like the Mic you are using in this video..What is it?? Sounds great..
Amazingly it’s $36

No wonder you never use quotation marks... How is the boom with a keyboard - does the low horizontal member get in the way?
The low part doesn't get in my way AT ALL
First off, great review as always. Second that joke you made at the end had me shoot coffee out my nose.
please tell me it was an iced coffee.....
It was luke warm, I'm accident prone so I learned early to not be around hot things.@@ObscureMics
What is the extension tube you use for the microphone?
Gravity quick release

I DID....but now it's the triad orbit m2
