The Spider Mod Report: Day 96
Aside from the couple of “clenching” moments on the first floor, this turned out to be an extraordinary run, and without breaking the game too! Just some really good item luck and amazing synergies. Unfortunately we did not get an appearance from Spider Mod today, but with how much this game has been trolling Sin lately (even a bit in today’s run, too), I’m just happy he was able to get a much-deserved fun, powerful, and easier win today. The road to 1000 wins had a strong start! I hope everyone has a fantastic day! 😊

Day 33 of recommending anime! Today's recommendation is The Promised Neverland. It is a thriller about... children and some supernatural stuff. It is one of the best thrillers that i have seen! Plus the second season is coming out soon.

Epic Seven is one of my favorite mobile games I play, (though I mostly play it on my computer with an emulator these days), and I fully got into it because of you Sinvicta. I had previously written off every gatcha game on the planet because I didn't think there was much value to them, but now I got the autobattler going in Epic seven all the time lol. At the very least you were the mobile game ambassador for me. Building a team is one of the bigger appeals for me, working on grinding up smaller units so I can promote my team to higher stars and stuff is pretty engaging.
Anyway, just wanted to say thanks for getting me into the game since it was fairly relevant in the episode.
Finally the come back of the king: Polyphemous
As someone who is in pretty much the same boat when it comes to getting back into shape, I think one of the best things I've done for myself is start out with low weight intentionally and slow down my reps to make sure my form is perfect. I used to weigh 150 lbs and bench press 265 lbs pretty casually with 4 sets of 8, but right now I'm lifting much lower weight, but I'm making sure that I kill the bar's momentum at the bottom of the rep to force myself to rebuild those muscles that are important for the most difficult part of the lift.
Same goes for legs; I tried to jump right back into squats and dead lifts like I used to do, and I noticed that my technique was just awful. The second day I dropped to very light weight and made sure I was squatting all the way down, coming to a rest at the bottom and then going back up. In just a few short weeks I've made a ton of progress, and I feel like I have more power behind my lifts.
It does suck to see how far your weights have dropped for your lifts, but it's better to build those muscles the correct way to avoid injury later on. None of that advice is probably anything novel to you, but it's my two cents. Best of luck on getting back in shape. Keep at it!

I really relate to when sin was talking about weight lifting and feeling weak. I used to play a lot of sports and was in really good shape, but I started getting really bad pain in my joints recently, and it turns out I have arthritis. Now I can't even play sports, and I've gotten weaker. I feel pathetic sometimes. Glad to hear someone knows where I'm coming from though

Speaking on the workout thing I'm in the same boat but I'm only 20. I used to go to the gym when i was 16-17 and I was in good shape. Then once college hit I just stopped and I'm too nervous to go back and I'm not sure how to start anymore. It may sound dumb but I have to find the motivation which I'm struggling to do. i havent gained massive amounts of weight only around 10 pounds but I can tell my muscles aren't as strong.
I think its an awesome tactic to shoot at ragmans head while its rolling because it both damages ragman and the spider it turns into

I only started taking my back problems seriously after going from carrying 200 lbs to not being able to lift 15 lbs at work. That moment was so humiliating to me and then i found out I had three herniated discs and a blood clot in my spine. Im scared of going back to working out because I am dont think i will ever be able to do what i used to do. Its sad to think that im only 20 and have these problems. I need to find some motivation
