Thank you this came across my UA-cam channel. I clicked liked and subscribed. I will have to try. I haven't made cards since my wonderful husband Bob went to Heaven 7 years ago. But you have inspired me and thank you again from the bottom of my heart
Oh Rita, your message means more than you know! I'm sorry for your loss. I'm happy to hear that you'll be able to find comfort in crafting! Recently I've been doing a lot of book folding/foto book art videos; I'll have to do more cards. You should check out the foto book art ones - you might enjoy them.
@CraftedSweetly Thank you I will. I am finally accepting how much I miss him. What is do Amazing Jesus is using me to help others.. To be able to share Jesus and let them know. Jesus will help them in everything
I was just showing this on my UA-cam channel and it's a year old but what an awesome idea I have only just started using napkins you're right Modge Podge is a pain I have one of those machines I have not used it yet giving this a try tomorrow thank you for sharing have a great evening and so glad I signed out to see what else you going to share
Hello... I love the way you attach the napkins. It's the best method I've seen. I have been using the ironed sandwich of cardstock, plastic wrap and the napkin, so much work but I love napkins. I must look into getting a Zyron machine. Here in Canada it is more difficult to find some of these tools. I do have a tip for you, hope you don't mind. I learned this from another napkin lover. Separating the layers of napkins can be difficult because they are embossed on the edges to keep the layers together. If you place a piece of scotch tape with a folded edge to hold onto, place it on the back of your napkin (away from the embossed edge) and pull up! It will separate the first layer and you can easily tear it away. Do the same thing for the second layer and you have your pretty napkin ready to go in a few seconds. Thank you so much for your tips and tricks.
Oh gosh Jan - I most certainly don't mind! I'm always up for learning new tricks myself. I may share that tip in a future video if that's ok! That sounds so easy! Thank you!!! - Diana
@@CraftedSweetly absolutely! It makes things so much easier. I've spent way too much time trying to tear napkin layers apart and this tape trick takes care of the separating lickety-split. LOL Sharing is how we all learn, right?
Wow this's seam easy project, thanks for sharing easy to follow instructions. First time visiting your channel, by the way I'm here to stay Greeting from south Texas
I have made many a napkin card but I have never used the sticky machine. That would be a game saver! Using glue makes it very very difficult to make a smooth card. Thank you so much for the tip!
Yes, it would totally be easier to apply cardstock to napkin before die cutting.! I happened to have that piece leftover from the other card, so I used that up, this the fussy cutting. But yes, you're right!
@@charlessalisbury6083 Yes, it did take a bit, but I just happened to have that piece from the other card, so I figured I might as well use it up. Thanks for watching!
Hi I learnt something new today which I'm definitely going to try. I would like to know the size of the sticker machine please. It looks so good. Thanks
Great way to make cards and that sticker maker certainly makes a big difference, I've tried using napkins but couldn't get the glue right so I may just invest in one of those sticker makers as I've now got a large stash of napkins
One trick to remove the layers is to roll a bit of sticky tape with the sticky side outside. Wear it on your finger and gently tap the back. The layer would stick to the tape, and make it easy to remove
Hi - I pick them in stores when I find interesting ones. I do have a collection of assorted napkins (so you don't have to buy 25 of the same napkin) in my Etsy shop. Here is the link if you're interested: craftedsweetly.etsy.com/listing/989243002/decorative-paper-napkins-mixed-media

Yes, that makes it so much easier!
I use a glue stick! Works great, no wrinkles!!
That's great! As long as it works :)
Wouldn't it be easier to add the card stock to the napkin before you die cut? That way you don't have to fussy cut around a scallop.

I thought the very same thing as fussy cutting around that particular die would take ages(it would me )

Yes! Another viewer suggested the same thing :). So in subsequent videos that's how I do it. So much easier! Thanks for the tip :)

Yay! Thank you!
The cards are beautiful but the music in the background is really annoying!
Thank you for the feedback. Yeah, I wish I could lower the volume or erase the music. Unfortunately no way to do that once it's posted.
