Aww I’m sorry you didn’t like the results! I do feel like you needed more water and to apply the mousse in smaller sections for better results and more definition. The key to mousse on wash and go’s is your hair being soaking wet
Awhhh booo..I know your problem..been there done that & I stayed hard headed for the longest & my hair would look like you..your hair has to be basically drench with water..the puffy roots is the sign if not wet enough & sometimes girrrrrl it’s best to have somebody do the back cuz they can see everything and make sure everything is covered and defined..but you will have to learn to do it yourself..but yeh you gotta make that hair is WET not spritz with water..WET & yes it will be sloppy but you will get the results..be patient..I know how it was for me ..I’m about 4years in being natural and sometimes..a lot of times my wash and go’s still come out like trash sometimes..but I can admit though I be trying to hurry up..& I get hurry up results..sooooooo. Keep at it you’ll get it & it’ll be bomb you got pretty thick shiny hair. Good luck Boo.
. Have you done a hair clarifying shampoo Lately? I'm a twist out person most of the time. I just tried the Doux Big Poppa Defining Gel; it is a keeper. It's a soft hold. I used the gel only.
Girl I don’t do wash and goes either!! You not alone
Glad it’s not just me lol
It’s your application of the mousse. If you had applied it in small sections from roots to ends your results would’ve been different.
My roots are sticking down more surprisingly, but I put get right at the root and work it in

Love the high puff. Its really cute on you❤
Thank you 🫶🏾
Not Sideshow Bob 😂. On the bright side, looks like it would do pretty well on a twist out and it gave you a lot of shine.
😂😂 Yes sideshow bob. No more wash n gos for me 🙅🏾♀️lol
For me I can’t use one product with the texture of my hair. Idc what The Doux lady said 😂I am going to layer my products.
And sometimes you have to forget what other ppl say and DOUX you lol 😂

Thank you 🫶🏾. I’m just not a wash n go girlie 😩lol
look like one of them mousses ya gotta shingle with
I think so as well lol
Sometimes I twist my hair at the roots so I can get the definition
I’m going to have to try that.
I use gel at the roots then mousse for the ends… or just twist the whole thing. My wash in goes don’t work well either.😂
Maybe I should try that 🤔

Yes I used a clarifying shampoo about two weeks ago. I haven’t tried Big Poppa yet 😬.
