This is so pretty, and the colour combinations are endless too,I can imagine how pretty pearly white seed beads and swarovski crystal accents beads would look on a deep blue bauble.I really enjoyed this tutorial, and am looking forward to trying my hand at making these lovely bauble covers.Thank you for sharing your experience and time to make this video.

Hello Julie,I sat with you and this video last evening, and managed, with a few stops and starts to make one,I am so pleased,it is not as good as yours as my tension is a bit looser, but I am going to have another go ,using blues and white. Thanks for sharing x

I've been creating these for a couple years and use wildfire waxed and a big eye needle-it works so much quicker for me.

Such a great tutorial! I ran out of thread in the middle of this project. How do I start with new thread? Thank you for your tutorials. I always learn something new which is great since I am learning all this on my own.

Hi J Lucas, please see our video here: beadaholique.com/products/how-to-tie-off-and-add-new-thread-in-bead-weaving. It teaches the basic technique of how to make the knots needed to add more thread.

@@beadaholique Once again I thank you for the instructions. I have watched the viseo and it seems simple enough. :-)

Wonderful, glad we could help! Once you get the knack of tying off and adding new thread it opens up all sorts of possibilities with your own designs.

Mine is curling up, I can't keep it flat. What do you think I am doing wrong? Thanks

This would work as a hair bun cover with a minimal addition of a few small loops of beads allowing for a cord covered in larger beads around the base allowing for cinching around the base of the bun itself. I hope that makes sense. Thanks for the idea. With a change of color a fancy hair piece for year round.😀

Could I use this method to make a beaded snood, all of the beaded snoods I see the netting part is crocheted with beaded accents I want the netting part to be beaded as well but I never see anyone doing this WHY ???

Although we do not have a tutorial on snoods, we believe you can potentially make one using this technique. We recommend experimenting with this technique. Thanks for watching!

Rofl, truly you make such a gorgeous weave and then put it on a crappy ornament, go wild get a decent ornament to enhance/displey this fabulous piece of handy work on ;) (no offence intended)
