I've been on a 1 piece 8' kick for about a 2 yrs now ..... and I hate traveling with them. Just did a week in SD and flying with them AGAIN was a bitch. Love a good 1 piece tho. I plan on getting a few telescopic rods now that they are legit!
*Bought a 500 for an ultralight rod. It's very smooth **enjoyable.fishing** recommend casts great. One odd thing- the bale wire is a bit heavy diameter in my opinion for a reel of this size. But a great purchase.*
From San Diego and just started fishing again. Three outings and not a single fish. Thank you for commenting on how you adjust what you use and why, I will try this. Awesome to see you can hookup every time you film, I really want to start fishing more and filming my catches, but if I can't catch anything these videos are gonna be boring!
I know this is a old vid but have you heard of the Diawa Procyon telescopic. Right now the triple B must have gone up in price but the Procyon looks just like it and 100 cheaper.
I looked it up but I think I’ll stick with my triple b rods bud. I know they are more expensive but it’s like the old saying goes u get what you pay for especially with telescopic rods. I’ve tried tons of them and the triple b has been flawless for me bro.
I got the same rod, I keep in my tool box at work just in case I leave early. I took a gray color sharpie and marked all sections/ guides to make it easier to line up.👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Had a question about this model of rod (666TMLRB) You mention it being kinda stiff. What sort of power/action would you compare it to in a one piece rod. The line / lure wt rating on it make it seem more like a MF action than a ML moderate fast.
I'm just waiting to hear about some artificial reef being formed near popular fishing spots made using only them damn dockless bikes. I live in city heights, those things are a stain lol
Where did you pick this up? Possible to ship to us overseas? Looking for someone to sell the whole package..rod, case, and that bag..that bag looks tight
Anotherflores91 this fits in my backpack zipped up. Cant tell that i have a rig in my bag when im on the road or foot patrolling. 2 piece is nice but telescopic allows me to rig up and break down fast with the rig still tied on.
@@livefree1030 I still can't find a case like that. I think it comes with the rod and reel when you order it online.for the certain model. I did find just the reel covers only at like bass pro shop and Amazon.
@@pitpit8080 it handled a 28" halibut. Its more on the finesse side of fishing. And we dont have stripers here in san diego. We would have to drive 2 hours north for them. Sadly, no time :(

can be for many things? sun/gripping fish/not getting spiked or cut a hip thing? i don't think so? guys all over the world uses gloves... it's not a trend, it's an accessory for what I am doing.

When I buy telescopic rods I only buys Japanese. They are the one who started it and knows what it really should be. Rest of telescopic rods are pure garbages from my actual experiences .

I use the 9.99$, 23 foot chinese telescopic poles regularly.. super whippy, they do work for the panfish, calicos, and catfish though for sure!

Cool telescopic casting rod I got 2 Walmart telescopic spinning rods but they still work good and are pretty sensitive

and especially REALLY early in the mornings, the fingers are frozen. gloves helped that a lot.
