The most profound and genuine compliment I've ever heard of. Bless that man.
These people literally mean it. If they meet him/her. They will kiss their hands.
I also then realized how gigantic his hands are
He even used his hands rofl and ate every bite. I felt the same when I first had cheesecake myself. Lol

Um.... pretty sure that's from Walmart, dude...

“May God increase his business and the one who sent it. My prayers are with them.” I never had anybody tell me anything like that when I owned a restaurant and cook food for people!😊
That was the best part! From now on, I will be thinking about the people who cook my meals (it's usually me, but you know what I mean)
This was the nicest guy.

"This should be a big cake & I'd eat it alone."
I've been fascinated & interested in people from other cultures my entire 70 yrs; it's delightful to find commonalities; "This should be a big cake..." is exactly what I have thought every time I've ever had cheese cake.
To the birthday wisher... thank you, today is, in fact, my 70th birthday.

“I should be eating it alone near a river.” Dear God YES. Cheesecake, all by myself, sitting beside a quiet river. That’s got to be what Heaven is like.
That’s so funny- I would have said- in a closet with a cigarette afterwards… 😂
That was absolutely my favorite part!
After a whole cake he will puke so he needs a river - that‘s my logic haha
I agree.
I caught that, too. Cheesecake is a slice of heavenly joy.
I love the fact that these people appreciate the person who made the cheesecake, just as much as the actual cheesecake. It's beautiful.
That is exactly what I took from this video. I think we as Americans have gotten to impersonal about the things we consume. We should try not to forget, somebody made that.
@@colleengarren1462 In our industrialized society, it is probable that a person didn't make the food we are eating but rather a computer program and machine.

Its as if sharing a meal with someone is the most simple yet most respectful act you could do to show your love. My life is truly forever changed by this demonstration of humility and companionship.
Food is one of the most basic things a person can share with another. There's a reason there's a version of the phrase "breaking bread together" almost everywhere in the world.
Perfect comment.❤️your use of words perfect.
I really admire how delicately they're eating the cheesecake; savoring and enjoying each bite slowly before taking another
They are not in a rush to eat and move on like s in the west. They are people to admire
To this day cheescake makes me puke. It's just so disgusting, I can't imagine how anyone can LIKE it, let alone keep a bite down for more than a few seconds. I mean I kept a shot of gasoline down on a dare once, no problem. I ate a bag of chocolate covered crickets. But cheesecake makes me puke every time.
that's just what you do with cheesecake.

But one for each ! Cheers
No he said alone, you can't go

In Turkish culture we say "ELINE SAGLIK" to show appreciation to the cook and "KESENE BEREKET" to the one who provided the meal, and the cook always replies 'AFIYET BAL SEKER OLSUN'. ELINE SAGLIK = HEATH TO YOUR HANDS, KESENE BEREKET = BLESSINGS TO THE PROVIDER, AFIYET BAL SEKER OLSUN = ENJOY LIKE SWEET HONEY.
I love how all of them started eating by praising God first, and then when they found the cheesecake taste amazing, praised the person who made it, and wished well on them. One of them said he wants to kiss the hands of the person who made the cake. These people are so humble, it's refreshing to see.
This is Islam. Please look into it. I promise you you'll see the world in a whole new light.

"Cheese on top and biscuits underneath.". This is the very best description of cheesecake.
cheese and biscuits
Yes it is, I thought his description was amazing and I agreed with him. I also thought when he’d picked it up to finish it that’s the best part of the cheesecake.
That guy made me laugh so much, especially when he took a bite, and then pushed the plate forward, crossed his hands, and just looked at the cheesecake in admiration.
He made me tear up 3:00 thinking of how many people haven't tried something as delicious and simple as cheesecake 🥺 many never get to have that simple pleasure and it's so sad. I'm glad he got to enjoy it 😭
😂😂
"This is very good and powerful thing."
A perfect description of cheesecake.
Why does this literally put tears in my eyes? It's so beautiful. What most of us might consider, at best, a simple pleasure of life is a deep, even spiritual journey for these kind men, happening right in front of us.

The man that said "this cake should be THIS large and I should be eating it alone down by the river" is a man after my own ❤ 😆 🤣 😂
They didn't do a complete translation. He said: "man the cake should be this large, and I wanna sit by a river with a picnic blanket and a bonfire, and eat this whole thing."
He also has a good sense of humour 😂
He's taking the cake on a date, he likes it so much. 😊

This show makes me so proud to be Pakistani! Our two most principle tenants are represented by this series and these wonderful people - humility and the beauty of food!
I know it’s been said but the fact that they acknowledge the person who made it shows an understanding about humanity that I think we often lose. They have such appreciation for both the food and its chef. Often in the west we only reference the food but they take that and make it a part of a person; someone made this magical food and they deserve praise.
You're completely right, you can tell they respect food more just by the pace they're eating. In the west we've gotten so used to stuff our faces. We don't eat slow and enjoy the taste as much anymore.
This is true.

I don't think it's rare for people to point out skill in artisan crafts though? People value talented individuals worldwide. If you want a somewhat common example I hear people express how perfectly a steak is cooked and say "send my compliments to the chef" or pointing out the skill of a baker making confections, pastries, or icing cakes. This value for the process of making something is very noticeable in wine and cheese enjoyers. Same with a lot of people who like alcohol who relish the taste and notice the hard work and effort of making a good moonshine, whisky, rum, mead, cider, etc.
When it's actual homemade cooking people usually take the time to appreciate it and whoever made it or at least think it in their head. I'm from the south in the US and there's definitely importance put on home cooking, I imagine that's the case with a lot of the states not just areas with 'southern cooking'. Although I feel like it's most intense around Cajun dishes like jambalaya and gumbo and it draws parallels to NY and NJs pizza appreciation.
They appreciate every morsel as well as the person who made the cake. They pray before they eat and show gratitude for the food before them! Love this, how sweet!
Just like Joe
@@LemurJackson *n o.*
@@LemurJackson joe who?
Very respectful! Full of faith and acknowledgement of the cook & give bleszings! Wow!
it is common practice to pray for the food. only in the west, people shuff food in their belly like they never ate before
It's beautiful how grateful each if them are and give thanks. Gratitude is a taught trait and it is pricless. Cheesecake is wonderful. I like it plain best but it is nice with fruit toppings as well. Cream cheese is wondeful because you can make bith sweet and savory things with it.
i had an older aunt from italy visiting in canada and i saw her watching me put butter on my corn on the cob. their reactions remind me of hers when she decided to try it. this is beautiful.
The humbleness of these people remind me of a blessing in Turkish before every meal: Instead of wishing everyone a bon appetite they wish health to the cook‘s hands.
What an excellent wish. ♥️
So sweet 🥺♥️
bunu sevdim 😁
So agree with this. I'm going to try and remember to do this.
In Greece we say "to our health" when we strike the glasses together.
Such a humble people. The humility to not only praise the cheesecake but the person who made it. Really does make my heart a lil lighter. Good people.
They are very close to God I guess
They sure did fool you....
@@cuivre2004 👌
john they will eat you and Christianity for breakfast
Absolutely, well said!
These things make me so happy. True appreciation expressed, it’s beautiful and really made me smile
This put a big smile on my gace and a tear in my eye! Cheesecake is my favorite dessert. I'm a sucker for it.
These guys literally just had a revelation on camera, and I understand. Cheesecake is life.
No cap after all their first bites they really just looked at the cake like "oh shit"
Facts 😂
My son would agree with you. Cheesecake is his favorite! When we'd have BD parties for him as a little kid, I'd have a cheesecake for him and a regular cake for all the other kids. No one ever complained. 😄
I never eat a good cheesecake before, so I assume they're just not for me. After watching this vid, I guess I'll need to find a good restaurant that sells good cheesecake.
"I can't express how much I'm enjoying" -- yep, that pretty much sums up everyone's first experience with great cheesecake
Not a fan lol

My nephew wasn’t even old enough to walk when I gave him his first taste of cheesecake. I will never forget how his eyes lit up. 😂
“Whoever made this cake, I want to kiss his hands”
I’m bawlin dude this is too precious😭
Yeah I've heard compliments to the chef but that doesnt compete with I want to kiss the hands of who made this 😄
@@ststephen1231 it’s really not that deep. These people have religion deeply rooted in their lives and seriously who gives a fuck. Also way to be out of your depth with regards to “them assuming it was a man” when they could not give less of a fuck about how PC they talk because they literally have other shit going on in their lives. Also FSM and atheism is cringe, keep it to yourself.
@Blek&Raysist As opposed to christians believing it's their god given right to grift and rip people off, lie, abuse and also control women.....
@@ststephen1231 You've been cursed with ethnocentrism and are severely allergic to cultural differences.
it's made of curd(cheese) not of yellow cheese ..
"There needs to be this big cake and im eating it by the river"
This is a mood I could perfectly incorporate into my life.
Why are they forcing these poor people to eat shit American and English food and making out that it’s so much better than their traditional cuisine? What a fucking insult. It doesn’t even specify the country they are from ‘tribal’ like there’s only one tribe in the world. I hope they were paid well for this
@@alexmac513 Settle down, it's just cake. And if you really think cake is shit food and "cultural food" is always better then sheesh get your head out of that bubble. As much as I love my culture, you just can't compare a Mamon to a Cheesecake
lol same
@@alexmac513 You're barking up the wrong tree. Pretty sure they cover who they are and which tribe they're from in plenty of the videos. This one even links to a house tour by one of the reactors. Also, this channel isn't about Western culture being better. It's about expanding the horizons of tribespeople and connecting people from all over the world with them. They do everything from painting to looking at wedding dresses from every country. And please don't try to hold up any one culture as if it's precious. I'm from a non-Western country and I can tell you that's how you end up fetishizing some cultures and defending some heinous practices down the road.
@@alexmac513 Yeah man I'm sure they're forced... Also they never said it was better than their traditional cuisine. They're simply trying a dessert they've never seen before and talking about how much they like it. Not all American food is garbage, it sounds like you have your own issues to be projecting so damn hard.
Any time I watch one of these videos I love how open the tribal people are to trying something from a culture different than their own - and how respectful and often joyful they are during their experiences. They have absolutely no difficulty in appreciating another culture while still honouring their own, and it makes me think that we westerners have so much to learn.
This was incredibly wholesome, thank you!
Seeing people enjoying simple things like these really makes me happy! 😊
If anyone had told me before lockdown that a year on I'd be waiting in breathless anticipation for four delightful strangers to taste a cheesecake I'd have said you were mad. Well here we are. Thank you guys. You have brought light, grace and humour to these dark days. Take care.
Wow, same
could not have said it better my self. This is the most wholesome group of videos on youtube
👏 👏 👏
100% same
IMAGINE IF IT WAS REVERSED AND SOMEONE TOLD THESE GUYS THEY WOULD HAVE A YT CHANNEL AND PEOPLE FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD WOULD FALL IN LOVE WITH THEM AND INSTANTLY..WORLD PEACE OVER FOOD!!! NOTHING A FULL BELLY AND A GOOD REST CAN'T FIX!
I think my favorite part is how much affection and appreciation they have for whoever made the cake. That’s not how most of us Americans view things like this. Imagine how much different our culture would be if we had a habit of wishing success and happiness for everyone who made something we enjoyed.
I think more people than you know appreciate those who create what we eat and enjoy; ever heard "My compliments to the chef!"? If not I would hope you start something next time you enjoy a meal. I thanked the people at McDonald's for my breakfast meal last week-doesn't have to be a fancy meal or dessert! 😊
People are so alienated from what they produce here. It's become cultural to almost "remove" the person from the equation of an item or product (imo)
@M... he probably can’t stand not seeing any women.
Yea closest thing I can think of is when people say “who ever made ___ deserves to get their ass eaten out”
@Mukesh Devgan if you want to watch a woman, go watch your mom.
