I test drove it last week and frankly the engine was pretty loud and the back seat was narrow. Good thing was the new front look, much better and no more foot brake.
Feel the same way as you. I also tested Corolla Cross and even other rivals like HRV and CX30 last year. Thought that Cross is more comfortable and better quality than HRV and CX30 but when comes to test drive, is otherwise. Besides, engine for Cross is also not as powerful as CX30 and HRV. In terms of quality, Corolla Cross can’t even beat HRV and CX30 too
@@gabrielcsh I own a 2023 HRV and a 2022 Corolla cross hybrid, my HRV seats starting to peel off on the sides, steering rack changed once (common problem), Conti tyres UC6 teared on the sidewalls for no reason (2 rear ones), while the Cross no such issue yet, engine performs smoothly till now, my HRV growls louder than my Cross.
This 1.8 litre engine is quiet when at cruising speeds but when applying kick down or acceleration the engine becomes noisy. Too noisy for me. It’s the same with the Corolla Altis sedan.
For me. I will go for the H6. Just because all things considered, it is a much bigger car which can ferry more people with comfort and more luggage spaces. 2nd the price. It is supposed to be in the CRV category but the price is on the Cross level. Not to say it provide much more techs and features, it is a much more powerful car as well and considerably same efficiency from its hybrid system if not better (H6 is a much more heavy car). But it still boils down to your own preference. If you are into that car then no matter how the comparison result will be, you will still got for that car. Cheers.
@@AnthonyLoh thanks for your opinion. I have half a mind to get the H6, but the reliability is still questionable... although I would like to believe it has improved in leaps and bounds from the previous years while they were in Malaysia back then... Only time will tell
Personal preference. If you like bigger interior and boot space. Then cross might be the choice. HRV has overall younger present and Cross is much more mature. Both are equally good in power and fuel efficiency. HRV is tat sportier to drive.
I find it they both are pretty much same suspension stiffness. Normal version suspension for the Cross could be more soft. NVH H6 is better in overall.
X70 is a bigger car. More on comfortable side. Cross is smaller but it is more efficient in petrol due to its hybrid system. NVH and power I will prefer X70, handling and efficiency I will choose cross. If you use it for more highway cruising X70 else Cross from city drive.
Totally different segment and class bro. If you have the money and wanted a bigger car. Then just go for the C9. If you wanted a smaller cross over and reliable and efficient on petrol just go this.

Finally! Thank you so much for this POV!!
The interior looks modern and refreshing 👍🏼.
Even in day time the camera detect bike showing image as car and not the correct lane. Multiple car in front but showing as single car on the display.
Sometimes the system may confuse. That is why not all systems are perfect. But most of the time they are.
Probably Toyota ADAS is outdated compared to Chinese cars which works in realtime.
@@uyirveli can’t be sure until you have use it for longer time frame. But from my test they are more consistent than some of the Chinese cars ADAS.
Weird the center armrest and the other interior dashboard are in white stitches while the seats, streering and gearbox covers are in red stitches 😢
The standard variants might have same colour stitches. Red colour might due to enhance for GR Sport edition
Now it comes with EPB, does it support Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop and Go function? Previous gen doesn't.
Yes it does

Then buy ev car
All CVT will produce whining sound when u accelerate... The nature of CVT
@ whining sound from CVT is okay & kinda expected. Org kita cakap bunyi mengaum bila accelerate atau buat kick down
In your opinion, all things considered, between Toyota Corolla Cross and Haval H6 as Hybrids, which is a better overall car?

Between Cross hybrid and HR-V hybrid? Which one you think is better overall?

@AnthonyLoh hrv minus point is just that back middle seat is hard n bumpy
This facelift completes the modern interior look! Could you share how the suspension feels compares to the non-GRS version?
The suspension is a bit stiffer compared to non GRS. Better handling and a bit bumpiness added. But I think it is worth it.
Does this model under power? I heard some tested and the pickup does not so impressive?
Not underpower by normal use. But it won’t surprise you by a surge of power like turbo charge cars. It is more fuel efficiency anyway.
H6 or grs more comfortable? Suspension, nvh?
I find it they both are pretty much same suspension stiffness. Normal version suspension for the Cross could be more soft. NVH H6 is better in overall.
x70 vs corollo cross which is better option to buy??? really need anyone who had test both cars

nvh between cross n x50 please how does it compared?
NVH I give the slight win on the cross. Although the NVH on the X50 is not far away, especially on the RC one.
Boss bawa kereta baru ini masih ada bau kereta baru ke
How is the car when in charging mode? Noisy?
You can heard the engine kick in sound and the engine running noise. Not intrusive but you can hear it.
@AnthonyLoh okay thanks for sharing.
this or the omoda c9? help me out

V spec infotainment with GRHEV different one ?
Same
pada pendapat abang, antara cross dengan x70 mana lagi best handling
Cross
Next hyundai sante fe
Need to engage Hyundai at my place
For a GR, not too impressed. Not sporty enough & they should put a 2.0 in it instead of 1.8.
Agreed that power wise should be better. But it is now with HEV. So it just added a sportiness on top of efficiency
