G Neville, not my cup of tea as a player, but one of the best pundits going round at the minute though. The guys gone up quite a bit in my estimation over the last couple of years.
He was not the most skilful or clever but he had amazing heart which meant he was playing way above his class. He was better than more skillful players out there.

The away end at Maine Road was the most intimidating I ever went in. The walk to the ground as well, terraced houses right up to the stadium. It was pure football. This new Man City are nice to watch, but surely the old city was better.

Tom its the atmosphere, I remember Cardiff City in Ninians Park Road, the place was hanging and they lost most of their matches, never won much, but now they've moved into a lovely stadium up the road, they get really good players, but its not the same, I stopped going a long time ago now, the atmospheres not there anymore, in the old place after you'd go too the pub by the bridge the ninean pub and it was common to see some of the players, like your own they were, now you don't know much about the players now, too much money now, their a world away from the fans now, all the staunch fans I know and knew stopped going aswell.

Lot of City "fans" getting loud, ye know too well that ye would be nowhere near the top without the Sheiks money, and don't even start with the fact United spend loads of money too. We earned that money from winning and revenue. Its our money.
Is that the same earned money that was invested into the united team before they had won anything. It is always a good idea to know your own teams history so someone doesn't come along and embarrass you by pointing out that utd road to 20 years dominating the EPL was all bought and paid for by investment and none of it was originally earned. I think you will find that this little spending spree will put you in debt because you aren't exactly profitable at the moment.

Scott Cameron United aren't profitable? What planet are you living on. United have just signed two of the biggest deals in history, with Adidas and Chevrolet. United are still, regardless of a duff season, top 2 clubs in the world in terms of fanbase and revenue. United can safely spend £150m every summer for the next few years and still remain safe financially due to all of the merchandising right now. To say the spending spree will put them in debt is frankly a completely uneducated statement.

You made a £23m profit last season which was because of a £155m tax credit received which meant you would have made a loss. You are expected to have a reduced income of over £50m this season. It would seem I do know what I am on about you clueless Muppet. That doesn't even take into consideration the £150m spent on players this season. You do know that if you have 2 consecutive years outside of Champions league, your sponsorship gets reduced by 25% and you look quite some way from a top 4 position this season.
