We play Stella more often than original Dixit these days. I think using the Disney cards would be interesting. Also would not be surprised if they roll out an expansion or 2 of additional Disney cards.
A ranking of every Dixit game and expension would be interessting and helpful. Which Dixit game and which Dixit expansion has the most beautiful, creative and varied cards?
totally agree but another reviewer had a point that for adults, it doesn’t have the right level of abstraction free of “branding” (for kids, it’s def easier for them to dive into the Disney edition!)
I think experienced players by default will avoid using Disney references, because they would be too obvious. If you say "Frozen", or "Let it go" with heavy snow on the cards, everyone will point to your card - giving you 0 points.
@@BoardGameCo Contemporary Disney has become the destroyer of worlds and franchises, and a propagator of unproven and potentially dangerous ideas which it feeds to children. A peddler of ideologies, if you will..

Day 1 buy if they come out with a Studio Ghilbli version.
good idea! The Ghibli franchise is definitely full of abstract characters (and needless to say amazing art!)

That's way too subjective of a parameter for anyone to answer for you. I would look up the cards to figure that out for yourself.
The scoring pieces sound like poker chips when you put them down. A lot different from the little rabbit wood pieces you get from regular Dixit.
I guessed 3 because it was the only card with a boy on it. And he just kinda looked sad so little boy blue
glad i was still able to get the stitch promo at gencon
Ty for this video!
yeah, the art for this one is so much better than the original dixit's

There HAS to be rule changes
You'd have to non mention a character or movie name or the game is ruined

Three. Definitely three
Cool
How someone can touch Disney content at this point is beyond me 😆
In what sense?
