I miss it, too. I'm on this recording and first learned this piece with Joe Flummerfelt at Westminster Choir College. I don't know many conductors besides Dennis Keane and him that can do this piece justice.
I'm a great fan of Charles Ives and a life-long choral singer and conductor and I've never heard Psalm 90 before. Transcendental beyond belief. Beautiful and sonorous. Thank you for posting.
We (UConn Concert Choir) sang Charles Ives' "Psalm 90" under the direction of Dr. John Pollein (RIP). It was a little tricky to learn, and one of my first avant-garde choral pieces. Ended up loving performing it and listening to the recording of it. Very glad to see that VoA performed it. Very nice job ! ~ F. Delano May, Jr.
This piece is a wonderful choice for today. (9/11/21) Can there be sweetness and joy after so much chaos and grief? As always, I'm grateful for the VoA daily choral moment.
An amazing work. I first came to love it when I was the business/rehearsal manager for a chorus. Hard work for a chorus, but the stunning results make it so worthwhile
Wow I MISS live choral music. Stunning.

Thanks for listening!
An astonishing work which I'd never heard. And such an assured performance. Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it!

Well said!
Another pretentious cacophony for Pseudsville Revelers. Still wishing you wonderful people well.
