Had we a "real" striker and not dessers the goal difference we have would be insane given the amount of goal scoring chances during most games, Vs killi i think it was 30+ chances and dessers muffed two open goal chances,had that been knacker sack a mura or any of the celtic forwards those missed chances would have been in the bag.
We ,i should say Rangers as i wasn't playing,threw away 5 points,now it's straw clutching crap hopes when teams are getting landmark wins and i do mean Ross county.
Since of course every Rangers fan here or anywhere had given the league to "them" after beale decimated the team by selling off key players and buying in dross,no one would have thought any silverware was coming to the fortress Ibrox,we can't bemoan entirely about a sadly weakened team riddled with injuries and it seems some players who blow hot and cold.
With the blowing hot and cold theme,these players need to realise that prospective new employers watch to see who gives a shit about the way their current team is going in the league instead of thinking about new pastures,the better they play and put in more effort will bring better offers and better wages than heading to a pub league because they look uninterested and burnt out.
More over,i keep looking back at how when under Gerrard the team again for the most part what we see still playing were fantastic in europe and abysmal against the pub teams that are played against each week.
I think Clement has done an amazing job of turning things around with the available squad,and to be fair some of the players that have past the peak for a top flight team have to face younger players who may not have playing experience but have a bit more speed whether or not they have 90min + legs i've seen some of the team almost left standing as opposition players have bursts of speed that just can't be held up by some of the more senior players in the team,which causes defensive problems.
And i'll say this for "them" when they get the ball they move forward at pace no shilly shallying around allowing the opposition to regroup,the best form of defence is attack attack attack and that is what "they" do 'till the final whistle,lessons to be learned.
Finally,Rangers are going to have to buy in pretty much an entire squad plus replacements for injuries as most of what we have is not good enough.
