  • Covering wars is all about uncertainty. The main one, your existence and the possibility of not returning back alive. So why do war reporters do it? Are they addicted to fear and danger? Are they adrenaline junkies? There are actually other addictions one comes upon when doing such a job. Whichever are the addictions motivating you when it comes to your career, it is certain that you will find yourself unexpectedly identifying with the narrative of Sophie Nivelle-Cardinale. The French war reporter meets the TEDxPatras 2019 audience to tell the tale of war and truth that composes all war journalism is about.
