I see they were inspired by the Ferro cummerbund, but the 2-band stepped up to 3-band layout looks like they were inspired by Shaw Concepts ARC cummerbund. I really like the designed integration for a quick release or traditional velcro front attachment.

Not huge on velcro both sides.... but it looks like it allows for a lot you can do with it. Do you think you can find a Shaw Concepts MSR cummerbund? I'm doing an LVS patrol cut build right now and I think thats the CB i'm gonna go with. I'm having a laser cut tube AVS front flap made for LE
@@EODFish unless Shaw updated the MSR cummerbund, it does not have any stiffener material sewn inside of it to provide rigidity. When I purchased the MSR upon it's release I thought it would be rigid like Crye's SPC airlite cummerbund but sadly it was not. @@EODFish im running ICW plates on the LVS patrol armor in the tactical cover. Te tactical cover takes AVS panels so im having one made for tube integration. What cb should I run for tubes then? does anyone make a sinple tube elastic one?
Better wait for the hype to pass and see more people buying it and see what problems make surface in time, it's only their first version of it. I'm talking about that elastic part that we don't get to see, also the weird usage of bar-tacks in plastic (that many holes? could weaken the tegris ) . It's good to have options, not a bad idea this cummerbund, but as they usually do, they will get a 2.0 in couple of months....so better wait 😁 Here is my comment to help with UA-cam's algorithm 🍻
I have the 6x9 side plates and plate bags the problem is that they try to accommodate different sizes so it left so much room that the plates would bounce in the bag and when not running it would sag and lean forward for the rest of the shift… it sucks I don’t use them wondering if the new plate bags would fit the 6x9 plates
I know you hate the K19, but I ended up buying one before looking at all the reviews. Do you think this cummerbund (as well as the adapter) would make the k19 a better setup?
IMO the spacer mesh makes agilite unique and I do like it. If they didn’t have it, they would be just like every other carrier on the market. Nothing really different to offer. 🤷♂️
Agilite finally releases a good product? That said, bartacks on Tegris is a seriously rookie move. If you've got contacts there I'd definitely tell them to reconsider that.
@EODFish my only experience is plate carriers with either foam padding behind slick nylon or just a single layer of nylon. Single layer of nylon for me is miserable, especially sitting in a vehicle because the plates are hard and dig into my back. The ones with foam are not too shabby. I'm trying spacer mesh rn on a defense mechanisms mepc, I'll see how that goes.
@@EODFish well because it give you the option of running it or not running it because if you run it on the inside you have to add 4 inches to your size and if you take them out the sides will probably be lose

I will just point out that they are not using Tegris, but Curv. Both are a thermoplastic material, but there are some differences.
What's the difference?

Great video Fish. That cummerbund is definitely a good and innovative design. Agilite is going in the right direction.
I’ve been waiting for this cummerbund, looks to really bridge the gap between other solutions, hopefully they don’t over price it!

With the armor, you really don’t need a rigid cummerbund on the LVS. The AVS it ships with works out well enough.

Why is it a rookie move? Debating picking one up but not if it's going to rip apart. Thanks.
It will likely be fine but you just don’t need that many holes in your tegris.
Just curious why you don't like spacer mesh?
It tends to retain heat and at the cost of durability.

How did u get your hands on one? They are permanently out of stock....
They don’t release until June. That’s my mistake.
Did they send you the k-19 adapter when they sent the cummerbund?
No.
