    Pretty cool that they sent you a prototype even though you hated on the k19. A company that actually listens to the negativity and tries to improve it instead of hide it

      I think that's the distinction. He didn't hate on the K19. Hating would have been trashing it with no basis. He provided thoughtful criticism, which can be respected by the other side.

      @@64CSARthe jpc is actually a huge downgrade compared to this. Almost every carrier nowadays has more features than the jpc. Jpc also has no padding or weight cartridge capability. You fell for the hype. Just because the military uses it doesn’t mean it’s the best.

    While I'm a k19 enjoyer and I don't plan on upgrading to the k zero it certainly is a pretty big improvement in a lot of areas. One thing about the k zero that I wish they would bring back is the internal straps that crank the plates up high into the top of the bag, I'm rocking thicker level 4 plates with 3A soft backers because I'm crazy, and having that extra security of knowing there's absolutely no way I dump my plates is really nice for the absolutely minimal extra bulk they add. I plan on getting the warfighter if it doesn't cost extra to attach to the k19 which supposedly it is compatible, we'll see on release. I don't mind the k19 cummerbund personally but I also recognize the ways in which it works and the ways in which it definitely doesn't and I was ok with the shortcomings because at the time I didn't have side plates or enough extra gear. Now I do, and the warfighter seems like a really well executed structural cummerbund for any carrier if you need the extra loadbearing capability but again we'll find out for sure if that's true on release

    much appreciated. After some range trips with my k19 i have begun to better realize its shortcomings. while not a bad carrier in some manners, its disapointing just how poor shouldering a rifle can be, and just how piss poor the cummerbund system is. please continue to review the agilite products, especially the warfighter cummerbund. and if you have genuine LBE recommendations, please enlighten me as to what they are and why. Cheers

    • @chltmdwp
      @chltmdwp Рік тому +1

      If you have a good buttstock that grabs onto the fabric, shouldering is not an issue. The issue is when you have a shitty SBA3 brace that most people have (including me) try to shoulder it while using K19 it's impossible without modifications. I bought a Wisemen Company's SPlit Fix and Factr Stiffy that stiffens up the hollow portion of the brace and it does a decent job now.

    Nice review, and do you have a preference for the cummerbund flap tucking into and being velcro secured to the inside plate bag like on the Defense Mechanisms MEPC? This looks strong enough though.
    Also another vote for a walkthrough on the Warfighter cummerbund whenever it becomes available, in the context of other structural cummerbunds.

      I find that sentiment to be very respectable, if I weren't so overwhelmed all the time and screwed on price and availability the rest of it I'd care more about who my money went to as well.
      Location is the only part I would disagee with since I don't live in America I am always more comfortable spending my money with good people, regardless of where they are, artisans and profressionals, whether they are some random guys in a shed on some little island I can't pronounce or a small business in america making really cool hardware, or a local business here doing something cool. Quality of the people and business is a big factor.

Just look at the grey ghost pack vs the flat pack; same concept but drastically different execution.

I have used some of your US made expensive “high end” carriers and they were not what they were made out to be. I switched to K19 and AMAP III combination and it’s only combo that has lasted here in Africa and I utilize mine everyday. You talk about Agilite like they some Mickey Mouse company but their products has been battle tested by Israeli forces.

    • @EODFish

      Not speaking for EOD fish but he gave really positive feedback on the Agilite Six-Pack dangler and Pincer placard. If you've watched him long enough you'll see he's had criticism for Made in America products too.
      I'm not affiliated with Agilite, they don't even know I exist. Agilite is exceptionally open to user feedback, involved in the community, and it's good international gear. As for battle tested, Agilite gear is as battle tested as Velocity, Spiritus, and Haley. It's tested but not on a wide scale like something contracted and issued. Which is fine, they are all making incredibly durable and well made stuff. Crye is a different matter as they are awarded contracts. Much like the US military, most of the gear issued to the Israeli Infantry can't be changed by the user. Agilite, like US tactical nylon companies, services higher-tier Police and Military units, and reservists who can buy their own gear, and that gear gets tested and evaluated with feedback for further development.
      At one point (perhaps this is still a current contract) Agilite supplied the Israeli military with Kneepads and they also supply a Counter Terror Police unit with their Impact gloves. Everything else I believe is unit/individual purchases or from professional guys who are in the field and who are also part of their T&E team.
