The people who think this show is offensive probably haven't given it a fair shot and watched all the episodes---the main character is so flawed and the writing constantly pokes fun at the characters for their warped/toxic way of thinking...it's complete satire and I think it's hilarious and in this new season they made sure to make that even more obvious and layout a message of body positivity, self acceptance, and self love plain and simple (especially in the big sister episode) despite it being hella dark lol
Insatiable pushes the buttons of storytelling. It blends so many different genres: soap opera, mystery, suspense, comedy, and drama. I truly enjoy the show for the writing, acting and complex messages about isolation, anger, insecurity, toxic relationships, but also redemption, family and love. You have to approach the show as a long novel that you must read every page or else you’ll lose the point of the story.
Would a Season 3 ruin it? I loved the first two seasons so much because they were so hilarious, but I feel like the end of Season 2 would be such a great place to just end on a high point. I don't know if they can outdo what they already did without having it go downhill.

I love how this show isn't so sugar coated and allows dark and real thoughts, actions and feelings without making it "cool" just simply authentic (that's just my opinion, some people don't react the same way)
Gianna I thought they should have just left it with one season. Season one was amazing, and then they just kept adding irrelevant things that made all the characters so dislikable in season 2, and season 3 was just so boring I couldn’t finish it

It'd be good to see if her character could be able to have redemption for her murderous actions though some of her victims IMO were just from self defense. @@carys232 the acting, the writing - is it meant to be so ridiculous? It feels like the writing is so obsurd that even good actors would have a hard time performing well. the actors casted are sub par as it is. i really cant tell if its purposefully made to be bad
Eve i personally think they are all really great actors and although the plot is really wacky, it conveys so many different messages about things like race, sexuality, eating disorders. all these things are dealt with carefully and appropriately. i guess it’s just not your type of show 🤷🏼♀️
