    I just bought my deep6 fins. I love them. I found them to be slightly negative in the pool with fresh water and slightly positive (if not perfectly neutral) in salt water. The positive buoyancy helps me keep good trim in the water as I'm leg heavy, like most people. It's actually the plastic webbing on the spring strap that made it slightly negative in the pool and slightly positive without it. My buddy paired two fins up, one with the webbing and one without and it was perfectly neutral. For 3 hours it didn't touch the top or bottom of the pool. Heres the video proof :) facebook.com/getaqui/videos/245823009425097/
    Also... you can frog kick when on the surface too. Just lie and your back and frog kick. Easy :)

    If your straps are still too tight with pins in longest position, you can fit small, stainless steel quick links to make longer.

    Turk - I am struggling with adjusting my new Deep 6 Eddys. The two dive shops I visited had never worked with them before and weren't comfortable tinkering with them. How do I hook the strap onto the frontmost pin? Do I need to take both pins completely out?

      Jerard Washington I can’t really say due to the fact that I have never used Slipstreams before, sorry. I have used or tried 5 different fins and these are my favorite.

    Do you think a large fin would work with a size 9 hard sole BARE boot

      I would say yes it should work but before you order I would send off an email to the guys at Deep Six and ask just to be sure.

      Deep 6 posts the exact measurements of the fin and foot pocket on their Website. I measured own boots with ruler to see what fit. Worked well.

    What size and thickness booty do you wear?

    • @ScubaWithTurk
      @ScubaWithTurk  Рік тому +1

      Those boots in the video were US size 11 5 mill. I now where Poseidon One boots in a US 11 and use the Large Eddy fin.

      @@spaceman8839 You are welcome. I LOVE this fin. I have used RK3s, UTD Precision fins, and many more but none really compare to this one.
