I feel Cristina. Nobody actually understands her. Her husband (owen) doesn’t. Her best friend Meredith only partly understands her but it’s ok because it’s the difference between them make them their best friends. Teddy her mentor sees her as the gifted talent (another her) but fails to make her stay because of Owen. Thomas who met her once at the boards, instantly sees her for who she is, young advanced talented doctor. The way the two connected because they both know they’re good and the other doctors are just “mediocre“. And he has to die 😭.
“Don’t hold your breath, you stop thinking when you stop breathing” Christina said this to herself and “breath, please god, breath” for Dr Thomas !! And unfortunately the one person in the world who fully and totally understood her, died 😢
I just like the relationship can we just acknowledge how Thomas was the best friend Dr Christina has longed for since the first seasons I wish we saw him earlier
