Honestly, I am sorely disappointed from how many Christians are unaware of the theologically rich and Christ-centered lyrics of Keith & Kristyn Getty
that's why i'm sharing it to my social media 😊
well looks like it is time for us to roll up these sleeves and remind everyone once again remember the field is plentiful but the workers are few don't ask for less work ask for broader shoulders to do more of the work with while relying on his strength not ours be blessed my sibling in Christ

While the lyrics are theologically rich, which I agree is fundamental in any worship writing, the Getty’s use dated compositional devices so some of their music ages quickly. There are remnants of 70’s,80’s and 90’s style methods which some find unappealing. Inevitably styles and taste shift and change with generational taste. They’re excellent musicians with out a doubt, they’re just stylistically a ‘mum n dad’ band and so typically appeal to that generation who experienced this type of music in their teens/young adulthood.
While at it we should pray for them. God has shined His light upon us while we were lost as they're!!

let not this world limit you remember at one time the Getty's themselves were considered nobody's but the Lord used them mightily and now many have heard the great news of great joy and are saved even if everyone you tell rejects you but only one listens the choirs of angels in heaven rejoice for the great deed you have done because it is something they could never do Jesus did great things while he lived but he told us we would do even greater things than him through the awesome power of his spirit so let the spirit move you and flow don't be afraid to make mistakes cause that is how he teaches us and that is how he makes us infinitely better followers of him go forth and do his will the gates of hell cannot stand against us remember and rejoice

@@carolinesampath7578 Oh, I agree! It's because I have known this song most of my conscious memory and just assumed it was a classic from years ago. I struggled to believe it was written in my lifetime and that I was apparently listening to their music as a child and didn't even realize! :D

may we be reminded of these words when the devil tricks us into thinking there is no hope or when we see him trying to trick someone else with hopelessness and despair, just last night we lost a child who ran way from home in the darkness and rain we didn't know what to do but the Lord kept her safe till we found her never doubt he is looking out for us because he is and he looks out for you too whether we realize it or not rest and be assured our God takes care of us and loves us dearly
