Great video, I will definitely check this desk out. The issue where the desk pieces aren’t perfectly flush can be fixed by screwing in a flat piece of metal/wood into the bottom of both pieces.

Nice review...thanks for helping me to knock this one off my consideration list. I could not stand the wobbliness especially since I'm going to be pairing it with a walking pad. I also have a lot more equipment as I have a laptop and a dedicated desktop with a few monitors, I'd guess it would become even more unstable with more weight and walking.
I'm looking at DeskHaus (guy based out of Michigan)...they look really sturdy.

Thanks for the review. I was looking to get a standing desk for WFH ( haven’t fully transitioned yet ) but I see so many potential issues with the standing variants. Also watching your review and seeing that a desk that’s 1,000 dollars having the same issues ( being wobbly ). I think it’s going to be a hard pass for me. While I can see the benefits of standing, I feel like since I’m still quite active and go to the gym regularly. A standing desk may not have enough benefits for me to deal with all the headaches and potential motor issues.

I have that exact desk, from Autonomous as well, I bought it on sale on 2020 for almost $900. I love it! The best investment and great functionality. I also got the ergo chair.

i need a desk with 'layers', not just 1 desk surface. like the main desk then shelves to place things, and another sliding horizone plain for the keyboards this is under the flat surface horizon plain that will have my laptop and mouse. the other shelves will place things like my printer and scanner.
my current setup is 2 desks covering 90 degrees 270 degrees of work space in front and to the side of me. but i got a shelf on the other side creating a u shape giving me full 330 degree access to stuff around me, only 30 percent directly behind me i can't access. however. this whole setup for me is not enough. i need the desks themselves have layers of horizonal plains to make it work even better.
i also eat at my desk and need spce for that too.

Ahh yeah I definitely get what you mean! This desk is definitely not the best for that since there is just 1 layer...

i like the desk in the video though although it's out of my price range.
i own like 4 total folding desks from walmart like 20 bucks each maybe 20 to 50 dollars. but bought 4 of them since they are so cheap the other ones are holding excess stuff, like the printer or miscallanious stuff im charging. and then the 4th one is open near the entrance of the room if i enter the room full of grocieries or items it's nice to have a desk near the door to place things down on it.
so i went budget with the desks. they are wobbly, total weight capacity is low, lean on them too heavily they will likely break or collapse or warp. but they are sturdy enough to do their jobs well without breaking if used to the normal usage.
