my job is to arrange the logisitcs and permissions for filming as a Location manager and organising big action sequences is fucking hard. Im working on a Disney thing in london atm and the amount of work we are putting into the car chases and shoot outs is ridiculous.
@@jacobhague9363 yes they do mate - im working on it right now unless the production company paying our wages is lying to us. New show for Disney + full of swearing , people being tortured, shoot outs, explosions the whole lot. Its going be a good show.
I'm watching it and I'm totally blown away that we have an access to this unique real movie production footage. I'm grateful to those who made it accessible to public! Thank you
These shoots really, really take a lot of time, manpower, and money. That's why, to pay my respects, I will go to the cinema to watch this movie instead of watching the streaming at home.
Bond films have continued for over 50 years with many playing the role of James Bond. It is amazing that the series is as popular today as then. The fact that the latest movie is considered by some as the best is a good tribute to the continued success of the franchise .
At the end of every film are the credits. The list is amazing. Everyone has a part to play in making these films to the highest standard I have ever seen, true professionalism
Ok the explosion and the train coming through there... I did not think that was practical! That to me is insane! It's AWESOME but insane! I don't even fully understand how they did it! This movie must've cost a lot!
I rewatched this yesterday and Deakins so knocks it out of the park on pretty much every scene. The Macau casino scene is just genius, as is the assassination in Japan. Again, the use of practical lights in shot or naturally occuring light is spectacular, everything looks so natural. Look at the end where he uses the helicopter spotlight to amazing effect.
Sam mendis is a great director...i love them of his work and respect to him...and daniel craig work are tremendous..i hope no time to die for daniel craig is not time to die of his bond role...i hope under some circumstances director come back to him on a 007 role...the best ever role played by daniel craig as a bond in my opinion is no.1 coz they fight like in real time momemtum is so great...i hope daniel craig return one more time after no time to die to the next bond franchise....i pray the script writer show bond alive in a movie no time to die in the end in the next one....thanks love you daniel craig............love the whole team........
I think I recall Corbould saying they did it at Pinewood inside one of the cavernous buildings there, and that the train ran right to the corner of the building and they thought it was going to go thru the wall.
Movie making is an incredible art, encompassing lighting, sound, layout, logistics, the physics of stunts and explosions, and the leadership necessary to coordinate many divergent personality types to perform their roles. Awesome production! 👍
Nice! You should do ones for the living daylights. I always wanted to see behind the scenes of the green 4 vs Necros fight and the exploding milk bottles.
These kind of real practical stuffs and stunts are outstanding, that's why we love bond series and Micheal bay movies were real action are shot without green screen or with less CGI ..
I often wonder if they use damaged cars that are then repaired to make them look ok or do the car companies provide pristine models because it is good advertising for their brand that are subsequently deliberately wrecked?
nice to see how the film was made, less impressed but obvious for stunt doubles doing the real sliding down the escalator while actors are slowly lowered by a cart or like Daniel Craig jumping onto a cushion. Now for the gun shots I know its prop guns that make noise and muzzle flash but how are the bullet holes in the environment popping out? are there built in explosives in the walls? looks like flakes of wood are possibly thrown off camera?
@@Fedor_Kisliakov makes sense. watched a movie prop video where they show that bullet hits can be done by paintball guns that shoot balls that explode with dust or sparks for certain effects and of course have to be shot around the actor so I thought that was cool and then combining with those mini explosives you said by remote
I have real respect for this kind of movie where they shoot real action scenes in real place, not behind a green screen with CGI. 👏👏👏
Agree..i also just commented in another video like this..

SKYFALL what a massive movie. The production was huge. Daniel Craig and the whole team just incredible! This film will hold the test of time.

The fighting on top of a train, while driving on a sky-high bridge is just MIND BLOWING
There can't be many jobs more difficult than directing something like this.
I AM ABSOLUTELY AMAZED that they are actually fighting on a moving train!
"Skyfall" is the best among all Jemes Bond. Javier Bardem and his acting is the main attraction of this movie and made this film great. 👍
My personal favourite of the Bond franchise. Love how much of this was practical and the Deak always deliver.
imagining you in the middle of a crowd of people and witnessing the shooting of a big James Bond film, it must be a very pleasant feeling in life..
These shoots really, really take a lot of time, manpower, and money. That's why, to pay my respects, I will go to the cinema to watch this movie instead of watching the streaming at home.
I saw it at the cinema and have rented it in a streaming service three times since.

Wow they deserve 8/10 for this. I will miss Bond Craig movie

5:31 that scene when Bond mends his watch after jumping, is incredible
Cufflink I think...
He's shooting his cuffs, not mending his watch.
did Daniel really do his own stunt tho cuz holy cow 😭😭 that's amazing. I'm terrified with the pedestrian while there are car crashes 😳
Ok the explosion and the train coming through there... I did not think that was practical! That to me is insane! It's AWESOME but insane! I don't even fully understand how they did it! This movie must've cost a lot!
Likely the toy model
About twenty grand. A minute.
most movies still use practical effects for explosions, as it's not easy to simulate the explosion damage comvincingly with cgi
I always wondered why there are no passengers on the train since it's rush hour....
I am not surprised Daniel Craig doesn’t want to do it again. It’s very physical this probably takes a toll on your body.
he also broke multiple bones
For me simply the greatest James Bond movie ever!
And Casino Royale 🤟🏻
@@Niamizus yes...for me they are the top 2!
That's astounding, I had no idea they literally DID that train stunt. I assumed there had to be no real FALL there, but Good Lord.
Skyfall is a good film and we can see how 007 take care of M-16.
Thank you for your comment.
JUST WATCHED NO TIME TO DIE AND LET ME TELL YOU I’M LOST FOR WORDS
That was a great film Mr. Khan
Thank you Mr. Khan.
Wow they really did run that bike on those rooftops
I know it’s insane
They did that for Taken with Liam Neilson
2:11 Yooo the speed on that small path is mental.
For me…..the best Bond movie ever. Beautifully done.
Just goes to show you how much effort at perfection is put into directing such a great movie as Skyfall.
a great movie, not much special effects but all appeared to be real, good casting, director, camera man and all crews good job Skyfall
I didn't know that they had shoot in real time situation..surprise that the actress see the fight scene in real time..wow...best 007 for me ever!!!!

Simply wow, not going to lie. You'd think they would shoot such a complicated train scene in a studio environment which is less dangerous :O)
I think I recall Corbould saying they did it at Pinewood inside one of the cavernous buildings there, and that the train ran right to the corner of the building and they thought it was going to go thru the wall.
Very cool to actually see true behind-the-scenes footage. Usually you'll just find a couple of snippets but it's mainly interviews and stuff.
DANIEL CRAIG JAMES BOND IS SO GOOD IN SHOOTING
They don't shoot the crew

This movie is so good
They get through multiples of vehicles like they're compacting empty soda cans in boredom....
I hate stop and go traffic, I have a new found appreciation for DVD quality finished special effects.
I love Daniel Craig and I love Skyfall so much
The thrilling introductory fight scene gave viewers a clue that movie going to be an epic…
and thats why 007 is the best movie franchise
Imagine this film made without music and sound effects! 🧐
SAM MENDES est l'un de ceux, qui a rendu la meilleure copie pour 007...J'adore SKYFALL, l'un des meilleurs JAMES BOND, avec DANIELCRAIG!!
The power of practical effects. Man the pay off is so much more sweeter

Daniel craig was real 007.awesome real action. Jst cant believe
It's almost a real theater scene!
Il più bello in assoluto SKYFALL
I rode motocross and enduro myself. The bike scenes without helmets is scary...
Shooting this kind of movies can cost up to a sum of 1billion dollars
James Bond movies are always REAL
Il più bello in assoluto per me Di tutti o James Bond...
Mooi om te zien dat dat men nog echte stunts doen. Ook zie je dan dat geluidseffecten en muziek bepalend zijn voor de uiteindelijke eindmontage.

Mostly pristine models. But sometimes, like fast and furious, a bunch of old police cars fx are bought.
If the protagonist is driving it then most probably provided by brands.
Skifall la mejor película de bond con el mejor villano
There’s way too much editing in films these days, the acting without the editing looks so much better d

it would be helpful to know what gear they're using (cams, mic, etc.)
The train goes through the wall and the camera battery is at 38%.
