Sometimes just a simple compliment, such as your hair looks so pretty, I love your outfit, or that color looks so nice on you, can help people feel better. It's been a challenging few years for the world. Kindness begins from within.

My mom told me the other day she spoke to customer service on the phone and the girl was so nice and made her day. She made it a point to tell her that. Oh my Gosh.. A few years ago, I got a flat tire, I Was driving a Mustang at the time. So called AAA, waiting around forever for them to come, let them in my trunk.. The guy takes one look inside and goes "You don't have a spare." I'm like WTH do you mean I don't have a spare?? I haven't used it yet! Where is it?? He's like Yep.. A lot of the sports cars now don't come with them-- weighs down the car. Well, after some more comments- mainly on my part, I had to wait for another AAA with towing capabilities to come so I can get to a tire place and go on from there. So YES!!! Start looking now, before you actually need it and are stranded somewhere!

I was at Hobby Lobby today too. I noticed the fall stuff out also. I got a few craft type items for our grandkids next week on our vacation - gotta be prepared for rainy day activities. No spare tire? That seems like a necessary item right? I think those donut spares are bad, but at least it’s something. Good for you for making those workers talk to you - people are so rude these days! I have one Sakroots bag, similar pattern but different style - now I want to switch into it! Yes!!! Customer service at Hobby Lobby, JoAnn’s, Michael’s and many other stores is HORRIBLE!! My guess is people are not happy at the work place OR pay sucks!! I used to get upset about the negativity but I don’t anymore. People are very unhappy working customer service. Customers can be difficult too so I get it. BTW, Cute bracelet. Did you make that?

I have to agree that Customer service is definitely lacking nowadays, but I have to play devils advocate. she was at work who knows what she dealt with before you walked up. The best thing you can do is smile and maybe pay her a compliment and if she still wants to be grouchy Just let her be grouchy and go about on your happy way, I’m super happy for you that you are retired and enjoying life but not everyone has that luxury (though I can’t wait for mine!) lol we’re out here stuck dealing with the public day in and day out and it’s not always easy. ❤️
