My brother is a Metis Coast Salish Carver & just found out this year from my cousin that my ansestors are King Freezie. My GGGrandpa Captain James Douglas Warren married my Gram a Chief's daughter from the Haida Gwaii. Tommista Edenshaw was interned to Kuper Island while my Gramps was picking up body's around Vancouver Island in his Steamships. She survived to be the oldest Native to die on Vancouver Island in 1931 at 104. My Aunt Sarah Warren was a Matriarch of the Songhees & 1st person to win back the right's for the Traditional Mask Dance in 1950. Also First Person in CANADA to have open heart surgery. My twin cousin's Myrna & Marilyn are married to John & Charles ELLIOT. They are amazing as well as you all are & praise you for being strong compassionate people. My Salt Water family's. 💘

Incredible - apprenticing under this kind of mastery and humble wisdom is a dream. One for the bucket list I suppose

This is great! I moved to the northwest about two years ago and have just fallen in love with the PNW style. So elegant and perfectly stylized...

I really like watching you carve. You use your knives different than I do. I would love to attend one of your classes and learn how to use your knives. Beautiful work.
