I’m very surprised and very disappointed to hear what he’s accused of. I don’t care if it was consensual, I’m done with anyone who could do those things to another being. The right is calling this “eating their own,” when what is happening is not being hypocritical. If he’s guilty of what they say, and he’s saying it was consensual, I’m out. The age and power disparity alone is egregious and unacceptable. You don’t do that to employees, especially young, female, estranged from their parents, on their FIRST DAY of working IN YOUR HOME employees. That alone, I don’t care if he had a signed an affidavit from her giving her consent, what he did is unacceptable.

Also, I disagree with Chris and Tony. He is massively influential and protecting modern day slavery with his silence.

I remember when Gaiman and Palmer split he actually said it was his fault though wouldn’t say any more than that. They had an open marriage so I figured it must have been someone that she considered beyond the pale and a nanny would fit that. A friend of mine spoke to a person who knew him from working in publishing and that person apparently did not think much of him at all.

I can't wait for one of these Monday's where It you and Tony cover the big announcement that scn orgs in major cities are being closed and trying to sell the building to get more $ to their International Reserves. You know, got to get the stats up! They already have merged so many missions / orgs / celebrity centers. In some cases no more day / foundation, instead its just one. more shrink, smaller, smaller, smaller. Good candidates would be pasadena org / valley org / sherman oaks mission, foothills mission form into one organization. How about Stl and KC just merge to keep enough people to keep the door open. Several near NY all merge. Mountain View, Los Gatos and Stevens creek all merge. All in the name of "EXPANSION" Miscavige shouting from the rooftops when all of us outside the bubble see clearly how desperate they have become. Just a thought. Comments?
Sadly, their bank of real estate IS their financial reserve. There is a limit to how much 'churches' are allowed to hold in cash. The situation that both you and I wish for is still many years away I'm afraid.
