I learned about aligning my shirt seam, belt buckle, and trouser zipper seam at Parris Island in the early 70’s. I still do it to this day when dressing up. Visually, I think it’s a good look. Thanks Antonio.
I found a cool hack with glasses. I recently reached an age where old man glasses (progressive) so I decided to spice it up. Got silver aviator frames with a blue gradient on the lenses. I get alot of compliments, I can see better and the blue tint changes the white balance of the world, helping me see a little better and helps with mood as well.
Always a treat to see another RMRS video in my feed. Been watching for years and learned so much to start my life stylishly; you still manage to throw new content my way that still teaches me new things Antonio. :)
Old money quiet luxury dark academia I invested in my wardrobe Life myself and I listen to You and many who know what they are talking about Antonio I enjoy every video always
ADVICE: If you have a good suit or coat that you value, *get it monogrammed somewhere,* even in an inconspicuous spot, like on an inside pocket for example, *BEFORE* you ever send to the cleaners, or even a coat-check. This way you can make sure you get YOUR garment back instead of another one. ♦ Too many stories about getting swindled. My father had a relatively new overcoat that he kept in pristine condition, and at the coat rack, someone who had a similar one but in relatively ratty condition. That guy took my dad's coat, insisting my father's coat was the ratty one. My father was justifiably furious! IF it were monogrammed, he would have had identifiable proof whose coat was whose. Same with me, I had similar result from cleaners. New coat, I kept in pristine condition, but first time to the cleaners, got another old coat that looked like almost threadbare in some places. Also, my boss had the same happen to him too.
I can't understand how many guys keep a dress or sport dress shirt out of their pants? If the shirt has rounded u shape at the bottom, tuck it in! But if it is straight hemmed on the bottom, then it's a sport shirt, and then, the shirt could be worn outside or depending on the function, if you opt for wearing it inside the pants as well...
Wow. I didn’t realize hemming tape existed. I just picked up a spool, and this is just fantastic. Clearly not appropriate for some trousers and jeans, but works flawlessly elsewhere.
An addition to tip 7: I just fold the jeans inwards, they look the same as they would using the tape. Anyways, great vid esp the military tuck which everyone is talking about. ❤
Happy New Year! Really appreciate your knowledge. My veteran father taught me alot about the little things in dress. Question: What about dress writing pens in shirt pocket as an accessory? I always carry a "space pen" in my pocket but am wondering about pocket pens. Thanks in advance.
I love sunglasses and watches, whenever I travel abroad I buy one of each. I have ones wayfarers by RB in dark grey with a rubber-like material and they are awesome.
I have 5 blazer, 6 leather coats, and various other coats that never get worn. I want to wear them but I despise long sleeves. I get way too hot way too quick, even if it is 45 degrees outside.
I've been a long time subscriber of your channel, and I love your tips! One question - is there an equivalent of the military tuck for guys with large stomachs, so that the shirt doesn't look like a muffin top?
This may sound excessive, but shirt stays are a game changer. They will remove all bagging of the shirt. Also, then you do a shirt tuck, and its in tight! Also, tucking your t-shirt into your underwear makes a much slimmer look
Yeah I'm not sure about that one. I don't think the "compliments" that you get from wearing a big accessory are necessarily real. OTOH, if it's part of a deliberate peacocking strategy, it can work.
Great video, Antonio, as always. Hope you had an awesome Christmas Day. Pockets: What are your thoughts on how much we should put in our pockets? I always have four items: car keys, house keys (separate from car keys), money clip, and phone. Keys in one pocket, money clip and phone in the other. Sometimes, I can put my phone in my shirt pocket or suit pocket, which reduces bulk. However, some pants pocket are just too slim or not deep enough to handle all items, so it produces bulk. What is your guide to how much you should put in your pants pockets?
Here is what I consider essential for pants pocket. Don't go anywhere without all these: *Handkerchief* in case of surprise sneeze, or momentary nose drip due to chilly weather *Comb* or foldable compact comb/brush combination *Pen* in case I need to write a phone number, or licence plate, etc *Wallet* (contains some cash, driver's licence and health card, library card, credit card) *Necessary keys* only if you're going by car and lock your house. Those are essential, not too bulky. Have a wallet that is not thick already even when empty. Cell phone as necessary, but not always. I advise NOT to keep any cell-phone close to your aorta/heart area. EMF radiation CAN harm
The western pockets, also known as French pockets, doesn't fit all body types. I'm a quite heavy man and I came to the conclusion that these pckets, because of it's size, makes my mid section look bigger. Also, the trousers with these kind of pockets are often tighter with a lower waist line, which you want to avoid if you have a heavy mid section. Just my experience but I wanted to share it.
Oversized watches are really not in style anymore. But more importantly, wear a watch that you enjoy and don't expect anyone to be complimenting you on it
Learhernuts, let’s not get crazy with the “gig line” when wearing civilian “attire!” Leave the Corframs in the trash. Signed, Lieutenant Colonel, USMC (Retired) now a very humble, handsome and well dressed marketing executive 😊

This is going to sound crazy but I was never taught how to tuck in my shirt . Military tuck from here on out !!!! Thank you RMRS
Specifocally look at how Marines do it. Ive been in both the army and the USMC. No comparison with respect to uniform wear and attention to detail.
I learned about aligning my shirt seam, belt buckle, and trouser zipper seam at Parris Island in the early 70’s. I still do it to this day when dressing up. Visually, I think it’s a good look. Thanks Antonio.
Wearing jackets the best! Improves the body shape. And slimming the sleeves by a tailor - looks great.

The military tuck - Thank you.

Great point!
@@pony3284 Thanks, its true. (Best also to keep a photo of it too, just in case you need proof)
Merry Christmas my well dressed brethren
Nothing more classy looking than a 36mm datejust
Never heard of the water bag technique before. Good tip
Love the detailing always 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

I learned the gig line in ROTC in high school.

Great video! Thank you, Antonio!
Your vids like this are at the top of the chart! I hope you have a great 2025!
Another banger video Antonio! ❤❤❤ happy holidays!!!
My omega planet ocean gets compliments .. love that watch

I find it funny that my inexpensive wooden watch gets more positive comments than my expensive bespoke turquoise silver tribal watch.
This is exactly what I was looking for! Do you have more videos on this topic?
I suggest going to his channel and looking. Take your style journey by the horns. Don't wait for people to guide you.

To give some extra room in your shoes, take them to a cobbler. They have good methods that work better than putting them in a freezer.

larger watches looks super tacky im sorry

Buy a Manbag with a grip handle to hold your stuff?
Kennedy, almost inarguably the best dressed president ever, was a big fan of Wayfarers.
3:32 what colour grey is that suit

I just put the clothing outdoors -20'c overnight, makea miracles if there isnt a visible stain and doesnt cost anything.
If your shirts fit correctly, the so-called "military tuck" is not needed.
Oversized watches are really not in style anymore. But more importantly, wear a watch that you enjoy and don't expect anyone to be complimenting you on it
One minute, still looks... .
Hack 2 not good specially when you see it from behind
Lol there's nothing one can do with the size of their hands
Just avoid women with "man hands" - remember that Seinfeld episode?
My hands are already HUGE. XL gloves are too small, won't fit.
@@mtlicq That'd be a problem if your hand warmer isn't big enough.

There are literally so many styles and this dude keeps making video after video about basically one style only - NPC fashion.
