She finds it hard to believe that why would she wait for her man where she can fight herself? Why would she wait for someone else to bid her hair up when she has hands? Hiding her silk hair in armour helmet, she slashed the enemy's throat, blood colored the sandy ground. As a military lady, she has fight for herself, she saw the world, world that suppressed just because she is born with soft features and elegant beauty so she hid it with rough armour and blades. With this hectic routine of her, she finally returned home to celebrate lunar festival with her family, admist the lantern she found herself infront of a hairpin stall. She bought a peacock patterned hairpin for herself and left. But suddenly it took ambush and she was surrounded by foreign almoured soldiers while she has nothing in her hands and seeing that someone was hostage by them, she had no choice but to surrender. But it took seconds to her that she stabbed their eyes with the same hairpin and rescued the person who was captured, leaving the bloody hairpin there. Years passed she now became a general from a small courageous soldier, celebriting their kingdom's victory she bumped into someone. Turns out everyone used to ridicule him for how weak is he but he was just a potter. She saw something in his eyes and bought a peacock shaped mug. Days passed, she regularly used to come and buy but then she realised the urge to protect this man in front of him at all cost. Seeing all his clumsiness, his crimson cheeck whenever she teases him and his slender fingers. She started wanting those fingers to bid her hair. But it was till then when she saw a girl by his side, he was laughing so brightly, in a moment she didn't recognise the person before her and then thinking he has another love in his life, she started avoiding her. The potter noticed her regular customer's absence, actually he also liked her presence, liked how she would stare at him while he made pots but suddenly what happened that she stopped visiting him? He went to her residence, it was big and glamorous, never thought a person this wealthy was spending time in his small, shady stall. The servant started kicking him out of the entrance when he asked to meet the general. Hearing the commotion she came out and stopped the servants and let him in. There was something in his hands. Probably marriage invitation that he is going to marry that girl from before, she thought. Turns out it was a hairpin, peacock pattern. He was the one who she saved from the enemys. Feeling stupefied, she asked him to bid her hair. And he did. Love is not about waiting for your prince charming, you can also become one, you can also protect them. Love is about giving.

Hi Tai Gek Tou, As a Tamilian, I must admit, I've listened to a lot of other Chinese tracks from your channel, form Guzheng International China (?) and a list of other channels which host Chinese music videos, but I swear no other track has moved me as much as this one. And after reading the description, I'm more than convinced that this by far is my most favorite track outside of my staple hard rock, heavy metal and extreme metal music playlist. This one's truly divine and is giving me the urge to start playing Bamboo Flute and other Chinese musical instruments. Although it's next to impossible to get those instruments at the moment given several factors, both personal and strategic, I'll keep that urge to play Chinese instruments aside for now and after I get the opportunity and stability I need, will start playing it.
