      A lot of folks don't understand that seeds from domestic plants can be harmfull in the wild. If you dump them, make sure they burn completly in the fire, or just take them home to the trash like I did.

    I just started watching your videos about 3 weeks ago I just cooked this besides rabbit I use chicken and boy I used my own seasonings and it came out wonderful please keep sending off the good videos I can't wait for the next one and of course I definitely this subscribed thank you and keep up the good work cuz I love Dutch oven

    Yummmmm, I'd eat the whole thing!👌😉 And actually I thought you'd have combined it all together with the gravy, and then spoon it over the squash. But it looks better separate. Great job.

    Indeed, like what you're doing. I have not had the opportunity for such a grand meal, while camping. I see a Glock Idontknowwhat lying about toward the end. I am somewhat a Ruger fanatic but we're all brethren...

    beee you ti full! I have 10 organically grown rabbits in my freezer and was looking for another recipe. We like to stew them whole in leek soup -- in fact we haven't really found another recipe to beat that -- but this looks like a contender.

    hey neighbor...somehow I missed this video when it came out. its portable (like poe-tuh-bul). how are the prices on rabbit meat in your area? not sure why they charge so much in northeast FL.

    Great video! It all looked so good. I was wondering if you ever use a cast iron trivet in your ovens to cook meats? I'm just getting into dutch oven cooking and your videos really help.

      @@BackwoodsGourmetChannel I have the 4 in 1 but I mean do you ever use a trivet for inside your ovens to keep meat off the bottom of the oven. Lodge makes one for this but i've never seen one used.

      @@JD-nc7yb Yes, my 12 inch from Bass Pro Shops came with a rack toi keep your food off of the bottom. You can use that or the method that we showed here. Thaks for watching.

    When I cut acorn squash in half, I cut them from the stem to the far end so that they sit well while they are being cooked and eaten. Yes, it is a bit of a bear to cut through the stem but they sit better this way. Am I missing out on something that causes them to cook better when cut across instead of length wise?
