So glad to hear you talk about the rusted canning lid. I came across one just today and was questioning it. It is still sealed tight and it has vegetable soup in it. I feel better about using it this week. Thanks so much. You may not realize it, but just by you sharing these little things it is so helpful.
I just need to say that I appreciate your sweet, meek, Godly spirit! Thank you for your positive videos! Thank you for teaching us about questionable lids. The chicken sounds good. God Bless!
Love the video Tessie . My sweet potato harvest looked about like yours. Nine were. In raised boxes and bed. The chicken looks like it will be delicious. Have a blessed day friend
I love your positive attitude most of all, Tessie! You're always so smiley no matter what's going on. You make people believe that everything's going to be just fine and I love you for that!
YUM! I was concerned that you all were hit with that winter storm. So glad that you weren't! Here in Iowa, the storm went north of us, and we just had a few flurries that didn't even stick.
I'll definitely try that casserole; creamcheese has replaced butter for my breakfast here in France, I keep the butter for baking and cooking now, so expensive...and Lidl has creamcheese for 89 cents, makes great cheesecake, too! As we'll be shortly out of rice, and flour will become more expensive, I prep a lot and concentrate on my pantry. Our life becomes very expensive and every cent is precious...this is why your simple meal recipes are so important for anyone who has to calculate every cent. Much love and have a blessed Advent season!
Oh my Tessie, I am going to try that crack chicken recipe in next week’s menu plan 😊 I bought the large container of ranch dressing mix for a three ingredient roast which hubby didn’t like, so, I have to come up with ways to use it up other then making dip and dressing. Thank you for the nice video ❤
Good Morning Tessie, Sisters, Brothers, and Friends :-) Wish you all a wonderful blessed Tuesday filled with Gods Joy and Happiness :-) Remember to pray for one another and for all around the world :-) God Bless You ! Love you all :-) Keep smiling be safe :-)
I'm one of those people that wash their chicken. Just something I learned to do many years ago. I wash it and drain it and sprinkle a little lemon juice over it before I cook it. The lemon juice will kill bacteria. The heat will also, tho.
Things are out of control. The prices of everything is going up. It’s just ridiculous. So glad I stocked up when I did. Now I just fill in. Not eating meat very often but so much to be grateful for.
Hi Tessie 🥰 ! I just watched & enjoyed your video. Cream Cheese on ANYTHING is Divine 😋😋😋! I 've tried several "No name" Cream Cheeses, I can't tell the difference - "Philadelphia Cream Cheese" 🤔🤔. Obviously, there is a BIG Price difference. I, no longer; buy "Philadelphia" Brand. Are you still eating a Cream Cheese Bagel EVERY Morning ☺️?? Your Crack Chicken Casserole looks YUMYUMYUMYUM 😋! Stay Warm & Stay SAFE. TYFS 😘.
Yum, looked delicious. Another good chicken cassarole is chicken devine. Wondering if you ever made that. Surprisingly we still have lettuce and swiss chard and parsley coming up and I didn't even cover it. The climate here is similar to yours as we aren't too far away "as the crow flies." Take care and blessings.
Snow is not super common here, we saw a rain-snow mix early this am, video of snow at about 2" per hour while we were out of the immediate area, and it is getting mighty cold (for us) -- Your sweet potato harvest looked so sunny and warm with lush greenery. You maybe racing to post previous footage (?pixels) but I sure enjoyed the sun and greenery.
This was the first time we ever grew sweet potatoes and gosh we got a TON. and I LOVE them so that is good, and they last ALONG time. But I have to tell you my hubby always dogs me when I open my cream cheese the way you did lol, he says it ROLLS down. and yeah, I have found that ANY canister garden is NEVER as good as doing it straight into the ground. Hey, Tessie, did you watch my pie video, girl best pie EVER!! :) EVERYONE always asks ME to bring the Apple pie :)
Yum 😋 I'll be right over for the chicken dinner..lol. The community gardens to potatoes did not go that while this year either. Actually I've heard that from a lot of people that their potatoes and sweet potatoes didn't do very well this year.
I like Michelle, like your positive attitude! Just wanted to share with you that we are very frugal and decorate for Christmas using things from the past. It is just my husband and I and I have retired, but my husband continues to work. You give me such inspiration and look forward to your videos daily. Thanks so much Tessie!"
Everything is getting expensive nowaday. In my country it isn't only the groceries, but heating your home is a kind of luxury for a lot of people. Some people are paying 1000 dollars a month for electricity and gas, and they don't live in castles. It's beyond crazy..

Tessie, you took a good recipe (Crack Chicken) and made it even better (Crack Chicken casserole)! Now that is creativity, thinking outside the box, *and* getting some veggies into the kids in a way that is painless for them! 😀 And it looks just beautiful. One thing about your experiment with the Gro-Bags for sweet potatoes and potatoes is that you learned what will or won't work. Any time when you come away from a project with more knowledge than you started with, that counts as a win! And yes! Have I ever had a time when time just seemed to get away from me? Oh my word! These days that's an understatement. I just finally bought my first item on the Christmas shopping list today! One last word... I didn't get a chance to comment on your earlier video today, but I did see the beautiful picture of the basket of laundry. All I can say is: "Now *there* is an artist at work!" Many blessings to you and Chevy Man! 🙂

I am so late getting home tonight and I could not wait to see what you were going to show me. I am not disappointed in this video. I'm still smilin from the end where you took off running with the wheelbarrow to the garden (I know you had to speed the film up) then it looked like you changed mine and run back to the front of the trailer then changed your mind again and come back to the stairs where you started and thought oh to heck with it and just dumped the dirt out. Now I could be wrong because I don't see very good but it did not look like you dumped any dirt in the garden or in front of the trailer and that's why I was laughing. Now Tessie if you don't understand what I'm talking about just watch that last part and see if it's funny. Now I don't blame you for being disappointed in those few little sweetpotatoes because that garden and potting soil is very expensive so you invested some money for those few sweetpotatoes but now you know not to use the bags for potatoes.
