People are really so stupid to say you’re destroying the bearing by pounding out a stud? If you could destroy that bearing with a hammer wouldn’t you think that the bearing would break apart after a couple bumps on the road with the weight of the truck at speed behind it?

i cannot believe that someone who watches this sayes it will hurt the bearings,i am a retired truck mechanic, did it for 45 years. a big truck loaded weighs 80,000 pounds ! so when it hits a pot hole that is more shock than hitting it with a hammer! i had a truck that went to jersey 5 times a week it hit a pothole near new york city and it knocked the lower radiator off! more than once ,so the wheels stayed on !!!! i did some alignment but nothing like you do. like to have done some.like your stuff keep up the good work . ps dont know how many axle studs i bent but it takes some skill swing that big a hammer.

It has been awhile since I worked on trucks. But I would say hitting a concrete wall or a f150 would be alot harder on them there wheel bearings, then hitting them with a 16 lbs hammer. The only thing you are going to knock out with that air hammer is the filling in your teeth, when trying knock out large truck wheel studs with it!!!

A taper roller bearing is one of the toughest steels, taking so many tons of weight for literally millions of miles, at the same time supporting about 200 pounds of wheel and keeping it in place over rough roads at 60 mph plus,,,,,,, 🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂🤣😂 I mean come on, as far as that bearings concerned, it’s being tickled with a feather.
Every joint strip or pothole smacks that bearing way harder.
Even if that hub was on a trailer from over a hundred years ago with plain bronze for a bearing it’d still shrug off those hammer smacks 😅😅

to hit a big truck hub hard enough to damage the bearings would require a wrecking ball. that normal swing maby has 4-500 lbs of force. then divide that up by the surface area of the bearings. and is basically nothing.

Hold up! The 16# hammer blowing a stud out does more damage to the studs than the massive tractor that weighs, no idea, 30k #, that just ran into a wall. If hitting the wall didn't blow up a bearing, some dude hitting studs with a hammer doesn't even know its happening.
