- Some didn't like this game so much because it was nothing like what Japanese people got for their Turbo Grafx. And while it doesn't really compare to that game, I still liked this and think it's a pretty solid entry for the Castlevania series.

They actually do get hit at one point, but overall it's still impressive that it was only once.
Oh, that funky guitar from the first level makes me yearn for the 90s again!

@@lilmensajero1880 u rescue the girlfriend and her sister with it. As for the combat, it deals a lot of damage and doesnt use any hearts whatsoever. But you lose the key after freeing the girls which you must do to get the good ending
Castlevania Dracula X has been described as an inferior version of Rondo of Blood, but I wholeheartedly disagree.
An accurate way to describe it would be "re-imagining".
This game's graphics are beautiful, and its use of Rondo of Blood's music themes feel very appropriate.
The exclusion of Maria Renard as a playable character makes this version a better representative of the classic Castlevania gameplay.
The one thing I'd change in it is the final duel; I would like for it to match its portrayal in Symphony of the Night, so it could connect to that game, as it deservedly should.

This game has secret passageways. I think if you fall in a ditch on stage 3 ( 16:30 ) you go to another level.

You should use the key on te cellar stage, if you don't want rescue the girls, you don't need carry the key with you
