you did the problem 2x-5(x+1)=3x+1 you are supposed to divide -6x by itself so that you isolate it. You got the correct answer, but you divided by 6x instead of -6x

I don’t understand on the question 4x+9=2x-6 you said what is the opposite of 2 x -2x so you subtracted it from 4x but in the question 2 x- 5 (x+1) =3x +1 you didn’t make the 2x negative or as you say opposite when you subtracted it from the -5x ether I am dumb or I am dumb but it may be just me I suck butt at math
