I automatically assumed that someone in the ground patrol party would die when they did the whole “I will go” scene.
Well, in reality I only had two:
1. The Vizsla guy
He was a minor supporting character and didn’t really have much room to develop anymore, killing him seemed possible.
2. The armorer
I assumed this because she’s kinda been a mentor figure to Din, or at least the closest thing to a mentor figure, and you know what happens to mentors in most stories.
I honestly cried when paz died and afterwards i couldn’t realize why until i saw how good of a character he became in the season. Hope we see Boba coming to help or the republic pilot maybe. Also i think Moff had his base on Mandalore since the beginning which would explain a lot including when the mando survivor tells them that no one came back from the underground explorations cause they were killed by imps. Also happy bday🎉
Yep the death itself is really sad, but it’s even worse when you consider his son, Ragnar. (I’m pretty sure that’s his name) Of course the other Mandos will care for him, but imagining how they break the news is heartbreaking considering how strong the bond between foundlings and Mandolorians can be :(

Exactly this season is basically wasting the audiences time until the final two episodes. Which basically every episode has had random bs going on until it finally hits the points we care about. At least we are on track for a good ending and Paz vislas death was so good and gave me halo reach vibes of him fighting to the very end.

Hey man, I've just met you today and I love your videos so much. I've already subsricribed and I can't wait for your review of the last episode. About this last episode, I don't really know how to think about Din's addopting Grogu as a kid, I mean, it was obvious but... I just don't know.
For a last thing, I love this episode and I think that is the better of the series (almost).

There are quite a few things I love about this episode, but I also love Din’s pledge to Bo. It shows his humanity and who he is underneath the helmet, outside of his relationship with Grogu.

Great breakdown! I agree with the Grogu stuff whole heartedly. He's irrelevant to the story, but the IG-12 thing is to try and give him something to do. I haven't seen the finale yet, but I assume Grogu will be the one to save Mando/Din. This episode had heart and thought put into it. This is probably the 3rd or 4th best episode so far in my opinion. I love how they've set up the finale to play out like most Star Wars movie climaxes with the battle being in 3 different settings, space battle (with the mandalorian fleet), espionage/rescue(rescue Din), and the one on one fight (Bo vs Gideon).

Episodes 5-6 of boba Fett really should’ve been episodes 1 and 2 of this season. Then we get to cut out all the filler like most of episodes 4 and 6, because they don’t need the side quests to pad the runtime
Still enjoying the season but definitely could be better with simple changes

The one really that gets me in the feels is everytime I see the scene where Ahsoka meets Rex fir the first time in Rebels, that scene really gets me every single time. Maybe it's because it makes me think right back at when they first met at Christophsis and in turn it reminds myself of my own past where life was so much better back then, and then at present life is so shit and all that. So it's all connected

It was a good episode but felt cheap that we only get the “high stakes” after 6 episodes. We needed some form of established threat from the start just to build some urgency. Season has felt like a Saturday morning cartoon for mine
My thoughts exactly. On the small chance I ever decide to rewatch this season I’ll probably skip a few episodes.

Just finished the Bad Batch (kinda late I know haha), but I thought it was waaay better than Mando S3
This show is beyond redemption now. Disney can’t help themselves, they have to ruin every good thing they have. The sequel trilogy is pure crap, anything that leads there is also crap.
It was going there anyway. Idc if it uses elements from those movies because they aren’t inherently bad. I actually like how they make praetorian guards cool and efficient warriors, which tlj failed at.
@@oXRaptorzXo 😂😂😂😂😂 Bruh in the finale there’s LITERALLY a mid camera shot of them walking up to grogu as the doors are closing and they swing at the air 😂😂😂😂😂 and din is on the floor saying “nooo” 😂😂 like yeah right they are gonna kill grogu off and these guards suddenly became so incompetent. It’s not like grogu in IG-11 is flexible and acrobatic and has agility, he’s a frickin mechanical robot yet they can’t stab him directly in the open chest 😂😂😂😂
@@117MasterSpartan oh no one mistimed swing guess the guards suck now. It’s not like they disable him in the next shot or anything. Then they are very competent in both mando and Paz’s fight scene, and definitely better then tlj.

The person playing visla was Jon favrue. It makes sense why his death was completely unnecessary. He says “there’s too many of them” in 2 close ups and doesn’t get shot. Then proceeds to kill them all with ease in 15 seconds. He could have walked two steps back and closed the blast doors on them: then when the guards came he could have just flown away..
And if you’ve seen the finale :
Nothing in episode 7 made sense. That monster that shows up and they magically arrive at the forge? When moff says “take him to the debriefing room” only for moff to want to kill him 5 min later 💀 like Bruh that’s the most incompetent leadership I’ve ever seen and gets even worse when he says “I’ll deal with them myself” then proceeds to do literally nothing and wait 💀. His character is really bad. In s1-2 he was good. S3 is trash.
Jon obviously wants out as there’s tons of conversation around him and KK fighting. Dave is working on the Ashoka show and then his movie, so Jon’s either on his own or he leaves and he’s not playing a character anymore in this show.
Two good episodes don't make the whole season good. Also I can't forgive the way they assassinated din's character and stripped him of his agency in this show.
You have to sit through six episodes of crap to get something good because you are willing to do it!
Disney has always and will forever be cutting corners. The cheaper they can get the effects, actors and writing they can get the cheaper they will go.
They will throw some nuggets out there to keep you tagging along but as few as possible!
