Here’s a few extra notes and clarifications, because I sometimes think I need an extra sentence to explain something. -They rarely go to space in Loontics Unleashed, but “and then a Looney Tunes production with a futuristic setting released” gets the point across less succinctly than “and then they went to space”. -It’s possible more than 3 years pass, as there’s Daffy crying in his bedroom for what appears to be a full year in The Float, and of course the Christmas special. But they whip out the “One Year Later” card 3 times, so I took those the most seriously. (Plus I couldn’t resist the Fesh Pince reference.) -The story concept of Tweety teasing Sylvester with a laser pointer was apparently conceived during the Laff Riot phase, but with the direction it went on The Looney Tunes Show, I assume it was more substantially reworked than Casa de Calma. Sorry for any confusion there. -Firearms appeared several times, especially in Season 2. Cecil pulling one out in The Shell Game wasn’t the first or last time. I put up quick text to explain what I mean. In the sense that was the only time one was used in the same way as in the original shorts, as a threat to another character’s life, albeit a much more serious one in this show. I never like getting facts mixed up or poorly explained, so here’s some elaborations right here to show you all I care about everything being accurate for this one.
The Looney Tunes Show stands out as a noteworthy example of a television program that initially faced significant criticism from fans but experienced a notable resurgence in appreciation over time. Initially met with mixed reactions, the show gradually garnered a growing fan base and increased acclaim as it continued its run.
If you’ve ever seen Tiny Toons Reboot there’s an episode with Lola in it and unfortunately the writers made her a boring cardboard cutout again that’s good at everything.
For me the original looney tunes is the best one because it all just for laughing and telling jokes and the characters were better I like to see bugs bunny shooting a dog in mouth like he did in 1944's hare rabbin than see him being an every man I don't say than the looney tunes show is bad or something like that but it is nothing if we combine it with the original
I really enjoyed this show when it came out, I felt like I wasn't supposed to due to the backlash it was getting but every time I tuned in I walked away feeling very positive about it. The episode where Bugs and Daffy have to break out of prison had me on the edge of my seat as a kid, it was one of the first episodes and it sold me on the concept. I've been very glad to see such a positive cult following grow around the series, proves that it wasn't just me having lower standards as a child and it actually was something special.
Also. It's funny how time passes like a joke. Bugs and Daffy were 1 year in jail. Bugs also stayed in an Albanian prison for a year and Daffy went to the marines. Lola went a year to a Tibetan temple because of a breakup. Daffy cried for a whole year to manipulate Bugs. And so on.
As a Looney Tunes ultra fan, I loved this series from the start. Years later, I would be rewarded by having the honor of Tony Cervone finding and enjoying my Looney Tunes blog
This show and Sonic Boom have a lot in common. 2010's animated shows. Soft-reboot/new take with old characters and new additions. A more urban setting, instead of being "in some forest-thing-place" Being initially hated by yellow bone fans but uprising in popularity due to animation reviewers and memes.
Don’t see the comparison. I was around when Sonic Boom was still airing and a lot of fans liked it in its first season… and then a lot of fans liked the 2nd season eve man more.
17:30 You Guys Have NO IDEA How Popular This Song Is In Brasil, It Was Posted On The Brazilian CN Channel, And It Became One Of The Most Viewed Videos On The Channel, It's Constantly Mentioned When Someone Askes About Good Songs.
I actually had NO IDEA this show aired a decade ago along with the other popular Cartoon Network shows. I discovered this show in 2021 and I'm LOVIN IT! My main problem with the show is that they use a lot of humans as the background characters, even though some of the less prominent Looney Tunes characters could've taken their place. They don't have to have a significant role, but seeing them in the background would've been enough.
I think Super Rabbit was another rejected pilot like Casa de Calma. The art style is clearly different in the story segments. Basically they pulled out a Crash Nebula.
I don’t know why but the Looney Tunes show reminds me of Rocko’s modern life because of the urban setting and the every day life routine however Joe Murray was inspired by the classic looney tunes shorts just like evil John K and like Stephen Hillenburg
@@Randomlad.0737I prefer Rocko’s modern life and the classic Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies shorts done by Leon Schlesinger Bob Clampett Chuck Jones Friz Freleng and Robert Mckimson
@@Randomlad.0737 that as well as Duck Dodgers and Looney Tunes cartoons are what I considered as good Looney Tunes shows I do also like the Chuck Jones revival shorts from 1994-1997 as well as Looney Tunes back in action I do like the original space jam movie okay but I don’t like the new one
I honestly liked The Looney Tunes Show when it first aired way back when. Speaking as someone who grew up on 30+ years worth of reruns of cartoons my parents watched, I've always had a soft spot for old cartoons and seeing newer iterations of those cartoons made with real love and care brought into the world. They say things aren't always as good as you remember, but some things just get better once you're older and able to appreciate them more. This show is one of those things. The Looney Tunes Show and Loonatics Unleashed are my favorite installments in the Looney Tunes franchise. The former was given more of a fair shot than the latter, though. The fact Loonatics Unleashed is regarded as a mistake meant to be ridiculed and vilified so that Warner Bros. never makes anything like it ever again is just the worst thing in the world. This show wasn't given any real support even before it formally aired on TV just because it wasn't the same old same old that people were used to, and I fucking hate that! Having said that, if one of these shows were to be given a shot at a continuation or a revival, I'd probably be more in favor of The Looney Tunes Show coming back. Don't get me wrong. I'm still a grown ass man who hasn't outgrown his love for Saturday morning cartoons, but I feel like The Looney Tunes Show as a whole has a lot more to offer in terms of storytelling potential. Especially considering how its characters are written. I wholeheartedly agree with the sentiment you expressed from 14:54 to 15:09.
I loved the series when it premiered. The character driven elements and good writing was what I loved about this series. Love the merry melody segments too. Hated the cgi road runner segments, was glad they got rid of it in following seasons.
Also. I don't see this like an "animated sitcom" it isn't the Simpsons. I feel it more like SpongeBob. Characters with whacky and weird personalities but with jobs and autonomy, unlike kid starred cartoons. Also most of the comedy was way more character-driven than pure slapstick. Of course it still has slapstick but it's secondary. And the show was mostly storyboard focused.
I enjoyed the times, that’s plural, that Daffy stumbles into fame/success and he basically quits bc he’s board. Leaving Buggs with a tail end glimpse of “What-how that happen?” So this Daffy has potential but is generally too lazy to full fill it, until he does and quits out of boardom. It’s a nice change from greedy underdog.
Like. The Tasmanian Devil was a character that screeches nonsense and spins. They had two things to do if they wanted to adapt the character to the new setting. The humane route and turn him into Crash Bandicoot or the Beast route. Like a wild dog.

Which is weird because the first season was way better
Kinda like Sonic boom
the only difference is the Sonic Boom cartoon was generally liked by everybody including Sonic Fans back then.
If the Looney Tunes Show has a third season,my happiness will certainly be immense.

Technically it was SpongeBob that did the gag first since that special aired on CBS on November 23.
It's amazing how this cartoon did a much better job of turning Lola into a "real Looney Toon."⭐
They gave her more of a character in than show than both Space Jam movies combined.
If you’ve ever seen Tiny Toons Reboot there’s an episode with Lola in it and unfortunately the writers made her a boring cardboard cutout again that’s good at everything.
The only iteration of her that has any character or depth.
Tune*
I still prefer Space Jam Lola
I would say that this is a show that is fantastic but that no one has the courage to admit.
And one that I love dearly.❤
This is the best representation of these characters, easily. Because they actually have a personality and things to do. Instead of just being jokes.

Who wins the biggest Bum Award
Oscar from Hey Arnold or Daffy?
I think Marvin Martian (Looniversity) deserves to win the award.lol

I feel like daffy is more of a dennis or mac than a charlie in this show. Maybe the entire gang wrapped into one.

Did mans just call bugs and daffy femboys in those 50 titles
You know what I like it when Kath Soucie is the best Lola Bunny than Kristen Wiig.
I had a stroke trying to read this comment
This show desrived more seasons it was not funny,it was hillarous
Foff about sexist cliches. Get real, grow up
The Looney Tunes Show sucks, Just watch the originals.
This show gotta be renewed
