Hey Seth! Thank you so much for an awesome video. I definitely needed to hear everything you had to say (and I think a lot of other people watching this as well). I thought about these five points and it is as if they intertwine with each other in a very beautiful way: In order to be generous (to give without expecting something in return) you need to become humble (the attitude of 'I am not the most important thing in the universe, but my actions towards all life is the most important thing I do'); to be humble you need to take responsibility of your own life (Be accountable for your own decisions and actions, and not blaming external circumstances for who you choose to be); to be responsible you have to have courage combined with grit (willingness to act in the presence of fear, and not giving up). Courage + Grit > Responsibility > Humbleness > Generosity And I think these mindsets are interchangeable and very powerful to remember when doing anything. Thank you again, Seth.
Seth I really love your videos. I agree with you that mindset is the most important thing when it comes to success. However, I don't think it's that simple. What if a person change his mindset, reads all the self-help books and starts to take different actions.....but somehow he just can't break the pattern. I don't know . I want to be optimistic, but maybe bad luck or karma or whatever really do exist. Great video as always.
Hey Lara - good to hear from you. Thanks for the kind words. I'll give you a little feedback. It sounds like you have created a pretty disempowering conversation based on past expereinces Karma is really defined as cause and effect - so they question is do you believe karma is "happening to you" or that deep down you caused it subsconsciously? If you believe it's happening "to you" then you have no power and can't do anything about it. My experience is that some unconscious patterns/challenges take longer than others, but if you believe you have no power/responsibility or give up on it then you actually are the one who makes it so. It took me years to work through my financial challenges and also my family challenges and there were many times where I felt like I wasn't getting anywhere, but I didn't give up and that is one of the shifts I talk about in the video.
Good question. From a place of ownership, it's important to remember that life always happens. If not a family problem, could be engine failure, a plumbing problem, you got laid off etc, etc. Cannot let life get in the way of your big goals. That second person will still find a way to produce the money and buy the course, if it's that important to them.
I'm finally studying your way and I already went through the course with notes but now I'm watching it and listening before writing notes again
I really, REALLY enjoy your mindset videos. Thanks for this, and especially accepting responsibility
This is great. I'm going to apply this with the course

I dont want a job. I want to be my own boss.
🙌
These principles apply to whatever you're pursuing in life.
What if the second person did not gather the money within 6 months due to unforeseen family problems or illnesses, will you help them Seth?
Is this question coming from a place of responsibility?

What's up Seth, uhm do any of your students have an Instagram or Facebook, I can't reach them on LinkedIn 🙏🏾
I'm sure they do but as my course is about career development I only share their Linkedin urls.
@@sethjared ok, I'm ok with that
