I am looking for this scene. I tried the link you have posted below but it is inactive now. Any other suggestions. I live in Canada. Thank you in advance. :)
They must have just changed the URL for some of their products. here is the URL to the same product from that same company. patternsrus.com/shop/christmas/silhouettes/3d-nativity-scene-large/
Hi. I'm making something similar this week. 2 questions: Can you give me specifics on the saw you used? and what if I want to make it bigger than one 4x8 plywood, maybe 5 or 6 feet tall?
Well to answer your first question I would never recommend the first saw to even my worst enemy. The second one was one I still use today. It is the Dewalt 5.5 amp corded jigsaw which is a beast. It has plenty of settings to be as aggressive as you might need (or not need). As for making a bigger version there are two approaches I would take. 1. Go to www.thewinfieldcollection.com to get your hands on a bigger version of the same thing. I am also planning to build a life-sized version this year. or 2. download Bigprint to take an image of your current template and blow it up to any size you want. woodgears.ca/print/
Just one idea , you just can print any model you wants from internet in a regular size of paper make yours cut on the paper , transfer those cut to a cardboard, then put on font of that a spot light behind that put the play wood and mark the reflection at the size that you want and start to cut it , that way you can do any others figures
Nice Job!
How can I get the prints for tracing onto the plywood? TY, Doug
