For each pigeon, I let him eat not more than 5 peanuts. I feed them once a week after they return from 80 miles training only. For short 50-mile training twice , I feed them safflower, sunflower, and barley.
Hii brother...i have two pegions at my home as my pet...i feed them unrosted penuts every day to them...one is healthy but the other one is becoming thin and unhealthy day by day...what should i feed to make him healthy again
Hi there. Good the know you got 2 beautiful birds. You have to give the mix pigeon grains, minerals, gritt and many more healthy feed. If the bird is loosing weight, please check with Veterinary doctor. He will advice you. The bird might be sick. Google for pigeon mix you will find the feed .thanks
Let them starve overnight. In the morning, after they fly, they will be hungry. Then feed the peanuts. I've had tipplers that have smaller beaks than my homers so maybe crush the peanuts into smaller bits for them.
Hi for how many days you feed peanuts prior a long distance race?

@@goldeneyeloft Thanks for your kind reply
Hiiiiii brother Which peanuts are better for pigeons, roasted or unroasted peanuts?
Hi brother Shadow. I prefer to pick small size unroasted peanuts. It's easy for them to eat.
@@goldeneyeloft thank you so much 🙏

How did you give them.
Our high Flying birds don't eat them.
