Trying to catch up on flosstube - still a few weeks behind! Can’t believe the progress you have made on Hoity Toity already, superb!! I am so tempted to stitch it. So nice to see how happy you are with your projects - lovely to watch your joy. Hope you enjoyed half term and went to Chessington. Libby xx
Thanks for showing your progress on the bookshelf, it looks absolutely amazing! You inspired me to do the Blue Butterfly, which I'm loving, and now you're tempting me with the bookshelf!!
Lovely finish on your Nora Corbet. I can't advise on beading, as only have attempted Mill hill kits. One day I'd like to stitch a Nora and or Mirabilia. Have a nice half term holiday.
I have that Egypt kit as well with a minute start. Both my boys are autistic and they develop “particular” interests that are really obsessions and my eldest son’s is Ancient Egypt. So the idea is to get it done for him but there’s a lot of metallic thread in that kit- I’ve put it aside to concentrate on his much nicer to stitch red ancient Egypt sampler instead 😂 xx
Ahh, that’s cool. I haven’t really looked at the pattern yet so I’m yet to discover the joys of the metallic thread. It’s lovely to hear that you’re stitching it too though! Xx
Congratulations for the wonderful finishes!!!! Woohoo!!!! Hey, often when I finish a project, I find it a bit difficult to really get into another project for a little while and keep changing wips. Maybe that is what happened to you, too? Then all of a sudden I am back to normal again.
Great video. I have that Nora kitted up but I am not a fan of the brown fabric that came with it so I am going to have to purchase or dye another piece. I love those seasonal trees. They would look so cute in a child's room. Your HAED is awesome, but 2034 is so long away. I want to start the Animal Kingdom and have purchased the patern but......
Thank you Lynn! You’re right about the trees, they would look good in a child’s room ☺️ I know, 2034 sounds so far away, but I love working on it so much it doesn’t bother me. Animal Kingdom is a great pattern, I have that one too but don’t have any fabric for it yet… You should totally go for it! Xx
congratulations on your first fancy lady finish 🎉🎉 I have Bellatrix too thinking of a New Year New Start with her ! great progress on Stitching Shelf youve got the 10% in the bag I reckon 😉 xx
I have the Christmas rule kit as well do you think one skein of the speciality thread will be enough? . I have looked at the pattern and the amount of red . I am worried it won’t be enough.what do you think ?
Hi Sharon, I had a look at the pattern and it doesn’t mention needing two skeins of anything, and I think looking at what’s stitched in that colour, you should be ok with one, but every stitchers different right? Xx
@@BlushingPinkStitches thank you . I have stitched using 2 strands for so long was worried it wouldn’t be enough However Lakeside do sell that colour if I run out.
Love seeing your progress on the Shelf! Full coverage is not for me - but I enjoy watching everyone else ploughing on! Have fun at Chessington!
Thank you Jenny! Xx
