Well, after all Bosnia was nothing more than a poor colony. I am Austrian and there is lots of nostalgia going on these days for Austria-Hungary, no matter if progressives or conservatives. They act like if everyone had the same rights and it was like an "early European Union". Which is bullshit. But nobody cares anyway, we are not the USA, the UK or France, we are just the funny little weird country no one takes for serious. And I am glad that it is like that. Would be embarassing if people in the world looked closer at our history and politics. But now they just see beautiful landscapes, Franz and Sissi, Mozartkugeln and people who speak german in a weird way.

@@SamuelJones-xc6cc the Ukrainian part isn’t modern day borders. There wasn’t ever a time when Ukraine would get all of Galicia and there would be modern borders for the rest, not even just the Ukraine owning all of Galicia part

It was occupied by Austria Hungary from 1878 to 1908, then it was annexed. If you count the occupation, it existed with Bosnia longer than without it
