As a Romanian I would love if the Balkans would form a union and economic union. Our diversity and the fact that we are the bridge between east and west would make for an important trade union in which Balkan people can help eachother grow.
You are absolutely on point. I always thought that area was far too segregated into ministates that a union could go a long way to help everyone financially, but I'm pretty sure US/NATO won't let that happen and they will continue to fuel nationalistic hate and desire for separation through media / psyops control. After soviet union, yugoslavia became the target. Good old divide and conquer.
