I paid $699 for the L20 on Prime Day. Wow, what a machine. Time will tell how long it lasts, but I’m extremely impressed with its abilities. So far, I highly recommend it.
I received my l20 today. Spent hours getting it to recognize floor types and auto clean/transition between floors including dropped off pads. It’s been such a pain. It does fine enough on the wood floors though not as good at cleaning them as my tineco vacuum/mop. It doesn’t do well working fully automatically in my house though. So much tweaking. It seems like it’s confused by my transition strip between carpet and wood. It seems to think the carpet is a regular floor and the strip an obstacle. I mapped all the carpet and it works for the rooms but still won’t for the hall. Until I did that it was mopping the carpet😅. Going to give it more time and tweaking but if I can’t get it working to clean everything automatically I won’t be keeping it. Too much money to not do what I bought it for. It has NOT been a fun new tech day lol.
ive been watching all of your latest reviews. I tried the s8 pro ultra and the revo. the s8 was cool, but felt like there was something missing. the revo was too dumb. l20 reviews were limited and seemed paid off, so I didn't feel I could trust them when I saw your head to head about the l20 being much better, I finally decided to try it out. you were completely right and im gonna keep this one. I was getting really tired of returning these robots, and its great. ill just get some extra warranty off amazon so I just wanted to say thanks for that. the x30 doesn't seem like enough of a difference to pay like $700 more in Canada. ill probably add a s8 maxv ultra down the line when its out
I hear customer support is non-existent with Dreame (at least here in Australia anyway) based on reviews. Imagine spending thousands on a robot vacuum and no have any customer support
I have the X30 and I have a German Shepherd. I have found that it doesn't handle pet hair too well. It rolls the pet hair into cigarrette shape bundles. I owned an L20 but I can't speak on how it handles pet hair as I didn't own my German Shepherd at the time.
im sorry for sending you a message through here i made an order of coffee on February 29 but i have not received it. I tried calling the number on your website but no one answers also I sent an email and no response either.
L20 is great if you’re lucky, and it works properly. Too many quality issues and customer support is a pain. Difficult to get it swapped for a functioning robot. Hoping they improved their manufacturing and QC process.
Unfortunately here in Australia the L20 Ultra is the "new" model and the X30 isn't even mentioned. We also have a big surcharge on how much they cost, its not just a conversion of the US price. The L20 Ultra in the USA is currently $899.99 which is $1356 AUD.... the L20 Ultra in Australia is currently :on sale" for $2400. A full thousand dollars more. I am hoping in a Year or so when they release the X30 here, then the L20 will drop down in price. I would prefer to get the Dreame Vacs, but they are just so much more expensive than the S8 MaxV Ultra here.

glad to help!!! this is why I do what I do!!! I like that I buy them to give you an honest review!!!!
In Thailand, the X30 ultra with the extra cutting blade costs 925 USD so it is quite a good value i think

Sounds like Samsung or any other corporation
Any idea when X30 or X40 will be available in the UK?

How is the l20 so far?
Is it easy to change the battery on the l20

I'm waiting it out for next month when roborock drops the new q revo 😮
Is there a difference in the obstacle avoidance? Is x30 smarter than l20?
No
Do you think the x30 is worth it if it’s $400 more than l20?
No but it is smaller
