- Storyboarding is complete!! I have begun animation on Act 1 but as many of you know the film will not be coming out in 2019 anymore. I don't have any new estimate release dates so I will be updating you guys on that the farther I get in to animation!

45 MIN long animation is a lot of time and hard work (not even counting the writing the script and storyboards).... GENUINELY GOOD LUCK TO YOU!

Honestly, I dont think storyboarding gets enough credit. It's where all of the animators creativity originates and it helps craft the story into a visual screening. It's really exciting for me to see how the artists's brain thinks. Now that Chakra-X is planning on releasing this episode in its storyboard state (with bits of animation that has been completed of course) Im super excited to see more of how he thinks as an animator and an artist!
Bro tbh fuck visual effects and animation, the story and actuall graphics in general are still gonna be a massive upgrade from Nazo unleashed. It's still gonna be a fat blast.

ItYaBoiMiles - Totally agree. I don't like most of the new voices for the characters as a whole to be honest. Sonic sounds like a totally different character than what I pictured him as being for most of my life. And that effects the way I perceive the character. He's no nearly as cool as he used to be. Now he's become a generic styled character. No energy no nothing. He's boring. And Roger is a big reason why. Can't stand him. I still don't know why Chakra is keeping his voice style. Same with Knuckles.

The fanbase always suddenly doesn't care for the next sonic game when it doesn't come out less that a month so sonic team always feels like they have to get it out as soon as possible. Anyway with sonic forces they were working on the engine for most of the time so the game couldn't be at its full potential in the first place which is why I believe they added the custom character feature. The next main sonic game will be good in my opinion.

This so amazing. I remember watching Nazo Unleashed so much in my teen years and seeing you get to this point is stunning! You and many other animators I really admire help me stay determined to work hard to eventually obtain something like this.

I know. It's like Omahdon was destined to be Nazo. He does such a excellent job giving Nazo personality, and in general making him sound like a great and imposing villain. Just knowing that he will voice Nazo in this like he did for Nazo Unleashed... it just brings a immeasurable joy to my heart.

From the look and feel of where this entry is going, I'm more than okay waiting more for an extended piece, take as much time as you must to get this done.
It's been roughly nine years since I saw the first Nazo entry in Standard Definition and to still view its follow-up getting some progress is worth the time spent; I honestly wonder which extras, in terms of content, may come from the extended work, perhaps a release with a Developers' Commentary will come later after its initial launch as well? (:

Yo for the length of the film and the amount of quality going into it, plus being done by essentially ONE human being, it is not possible for this to be finished any earlier than 2019. They opened up a lot of creative avenues for me while I was growing up and seeing you where you are seems....unreal. The quality of your work really shows the passion you have for your craft, and the updates you put out don't even leave a bitter taste and only serve to excite us more!

Brooo the chakra X segamatic universe is literally my childhood i remember viewing it over and over. You work is amazing bro i cant wait to see new content from you chakra you were one of my inspirations to even getting into art. (Side note: I also drew a full comic based on your renditions of sonic characters. The comic had these pages where you could flip one page really fast and get a little 1 frame animation and i kid you not my teacher threw my book away for distracting students. But man i was inspired to do animation after i saw nazo respect brother ❤)

Also glad your giving us some shadow and knuckles moments since we really haven't seen them interact in the main series at all. Keep up the good work pal!

Woah... I have been waiting for this for a long time... and I honestly am prepared to wait as long as it takes. Just from this trailer alone you NAILED sonic's personality, made Nazo out to be an incredibly powerful, condescending, genius and terror of a villain, something that, imo, the first Nazo film already did well. And the voices for each character... astounding! WHY HAS SEGA NOT HIRED YOU TO ANIMATE THE SONIC MOVE YET?!
Gotta say, I think the single line that sold me on this movie was sonic saying "Who care's if Nazo's green now?"
Honestly just finding this channel again and remembering my childhood watching Nazo Unleashed... Sega NEEDS to hire you and have you bring Nazo to life in the games.
Nazo: Coordinated, driven, powerful, yet still cocky enough to not be perfect
Infinite: Coordinated, driven by being called weak, powers are fluctuatable at best and downright plot convenience at worst, and he's literally just "I am faster than sonic.
GOD I love Nazo. Even though he's not been in any official Sonic stuff (aside from the Sonic X trailer), he is by far my favorite Sonic the Hedgehog villain.
I also love the fact you used Fist Bump for the song in this trailer, really nice use of it!
