I was in London in October, and then I visited the Royal Air Force Museum London, where they have an Avro Vulcan on display. The plane is huge when you have the opportunity to get close to it...
As an apprentice I once went on a visit to Avro Chadderton back in 1959 they were machining parts for the full sized ones. Later air days at St Mawgan, fantastic sound. Also saw the final flight over the Ribble valley.
Beautiful day in a lovely place, a great model of an iconic and awe inspiring aircraft, sweet work on the sticks, excellent videography and a superb acoustic guitar soundtrack marrying it all together. Hi John ... I’ve just found your YT videos ... great to see ... I use to fly 3M gliders on slopes near to me also thermal flights over Warwick horse racing course ... with all the new regs ... all my gear has been in the attic for years 😕 !!!

Thank you. It is plan built but not by me. I picked it up at a model swap-meet for £20. I did re-cover it as it was originally white and pretty tatty.
