Wren, I got a tip to tell you about the solar sombrero. You should add a rechargeable battery that connects from the solar panels to the USB outlets. You should do this because the electricity is trickle feeding at the moment meaning it isn’t constant. Adding a battery will help power stuff when the sun isn’t that strong because the energy will build up rather then just disappear do nothing. It would also be able to help you charge stuff that needs more power.

Wren! You should think of adding a battery pack to store excess solar power! in the event that you aren’t always using it to charge something, you’ll have a battery pack so you won’t waste any precious sun power.

This was an awesome vlog. Nifty Wren project that wrapped up in one episode, details on freshening up the studio, and an unobnoxious sponsored segment. I could get used to this.
I like this kind of vlog with a more focused "story". I prefer something to be concluded in the same video. Keep the cliffhangers to a minimum
I think this is the only channel where I watch ad segment all the way through because it's actually very entertaining unlike other channels. Also, I love wren and his goofy personality, he's my fav

I think they mean that they didn't purchase directly because of an ad. Subconcious effect doesn't seem to be that much direct, to be honest.

The older videos were just vlogs of things they were doing and some silly side projects but the new videos are like proper episodes that need vlogs and BTS themselves

i'd see if you can get a battery sown in and have it take any excess power not being used for backup. that part could be tricky but you'd have a honest to god product you could sell on the market people would buy.

yea but those are convex surfaces, not every panel will get light, not as effective. i sugest a flat or possible a concave surface. the sombrero was a good call

I love the fact that Wren is a mad scientist in the Doofenscmirtz/Phineas & Ferb kinda way. He makes ridiculous and child-like inventions to solve his problems, and I am all about it - More Wren-gineering please! (Got that term from "Ryan Last Name Not Given" - credit where credit is due)

You should have hooked the cells up to a small power bank like a 2A so, then charge your phone from the bank, so it would let you charge in shade then it would get the power back when you came into the sun again

And fun fact, he actually knows a bit of electrical engineering lingo, buck and boost the voltage are both terms we use when talking about lowering or raising voltage given some input. EXCEPT NEVER USE RED WIRE TO BE BOTH GROUND AND THE HOT LINES!
