    Thanks for the tip of the bowl instead of leaving the bottle parts all over! I didn’t think of that!

    I don't know if you have learned this since then but the Dr. Brown's bottle parts (reservoirs/vent inserts/caps) will fit the Medela bottles as long as you just cut about 3/4" off the tip of the reservoir tubes (Medela bottles are somewhat shorter than Dr. Brown's), and as long as they are the narrow rather than the wide-mouth bottles. That way you can use the same bottles for feeding as you do for pumping. The same can be done with the 8oz bottles for these brands. This simplified our logistics immensely when I had this epiphany and my wife finally allowed me to experiment on the bottles.

      @@familyof5quicktips514 Just turn on your sneak mode and snip those tubes without her knowledge and then one day pretend to play around with them in front of her and "discover" that the Dr. Brown's parts somehow magically fit inside the Medela bottles!

    Is it safe to put all the small bottle parts on the bottom where are the bottles themselves go? No longer breastfeed and I would really like to clean one bottle at a time if I could put one tall bottle in there along with the lid the nipple the straw all on the bottom shelf where the top bottles go

    Just got this same sterilizer was wondering when you was first using it and had to turn it on 2 times before your first time using it with bottles and stuff did you use distilled water or regular water? I Don’t want to ruin the plate so I was gonna wait til I get some distilled water but not sure when that’ll be lol 😂

    • @familyof5quicktips514
      @familyof5quicktips514  3 роки тому +1

      I have never used distilled water in the sterilizer. Regular water doesn’t ruin it, but we have to clean it every few uses because of the build up. I don’t think you can go wrong either way. 😀 Hope this helps! Thanks for watching!

    How hot should bottles be after they sterilize and dry with the papablic? Because with other sterilizers I’ve had the bottles are actually quite hot, but with this one (papablic) the bottles are not hot when I take them out.. is that normal or should I send this one back?

      @Kkshar, Thank you for watching and for the comment, but for this question, I would advise reaching out to Parabolic to see if they can help answer it. Have a good one!

    Thanks for this video! You still have to wash your bottles before you sterilize them right? Wouldn't it be easier to wash and sanitize in the dishwasher and let them air dry than have to wash them before you put them in the Papablic?

    • @familyof5quicktips514
      @familyof5quicktips514  3 роки тому +3

      Yes, I wash the bottles then put them in the Papablic. Air drying take longer, the sterilization and drying in the Papablic takes about 45 minutes. I like that so my counters are not covered in bottles parts while the bottles are drying. I thinks it’s just preference. 😀 Thank you for watching!

    Hi can you talk about rusting on the water plate? I’ve read reviews on this brand and also the baby Brezza sterilizer and both seem to have rust issues. Thank you 🙏🏼

    • @familyof5quicktips514
      @familyof5quicktips514  3 роки тому +1

      Of course! Thank you for watching! I have used it almost everyday for about 8 months now and there is no rust stain. There is some limescale build up that won’t come off, but not much.

      Had issues with that too before, then i tried using distilled water instead of tap, and it does the job. Been using it for 5 months now, no rusting on the metal plate.

      The Papablic completely dries all bottle/pump parts! I don’t use a rack at all!! That’s the best part! 😀

    • @familyof5quicktips514
      @familyof5quicktips514  2 роки тому

      Good question G. Yes it will steam out of the top on the sides. Looks like a freight train coming through the kitchen! Kidding, it’s not that bad! Lol! But be very careful because I believe the steam will be hot. 😉

    • @familyof5quicktips514

      Jaron, good concern, however, the definition of sterilize is : to free from all viable microorganisms (as by the use of steam or dry heat) / The same way that you sterilize surgical instruments in an autoclave. Hope that helps. We really enjoyed this product and thought it was a top 5 of must haves in our book!
