Thank you so much🙏😊 I'm not quite satisfied with the smoothness or rather the lack of it during this footage🥴 I've been struggling about which frame rate to use, but I think I have solved this for future footages🤞

@@smartphonevideography you're welcome! Which fps are you planning on going for next? Cheers and stay safe!

I tried filmic pro with the same phone and felt it didn't matched well so I went back to the native camera app instead, at 30 and 60. Both felt a lot smoother to the eyes for me.

When you use the native camera at 60 or 30 fps what do you do when you edit your footage? Do you edit in 24 fps? I found out that I need to record in Filmic Pro in 60 fps (playback in 24 fps) or record in 24 fps. When I then edit my footage in Hitfilm Express the settings must be 23.976 fps. Doing this makes the final result cinematic. My recordings in 60 fps with playback in 24 fps will then be in slowmotion which makes it very smooth and nice. It takes A LOT of practise though and I'm still not there yet 😄

@@smartphonevideography I use Power Director to do my edits. I'm still learning too so I don't have much to show for now. However, I noticed that if I record 60fps and then change the fina l output to 24fps the image will look very choppy and even sometimes shuddering. This makes it very hard for me to combine footages with different frame rates, like slow motion shots. I have done up a commercial video using a Sony camera with 25fps recording at 1/50 shutter speed and no matter how I look at it, it still looks a bit fidgety. The turntable I used is a bit old so that made the video even more choppy. The reason I bring up the turntable is that like our arms or our gimbals, there are some elements contributing to the choppiness of the video, and I might the frame rate might sometimes make it more obvious, especially with the S20 utra's sensor and software response when taking videos. I find that its camera is too sharp and often prioritise that over the smoothness of the footage, which in turn causes the motion blur to be too obvious at lower frame rate (like a lot of cubes/pixels moving at a slower rate and you are able to see the individual cubes rather than a smooth sweeping motion). * note; I'm not sure if that made sease and whether my understanding is correct. Perhaps it is because of that as well, I find your video of the copenhagen station although at 1080p, much smoother then this one.
I haven't gone into the bitrate as well although with Filmic Pro, you would have probably gone for the highest bitrate option available. Filmic Extreme if I remember correctly, under the settings.
So, I usually turn to 60fps when efitting and that ensures I have a smoother end result.
So, very sorry for not being able to come to a solution with you, and please take my comment with a grain of salt since I'm not an expert of this field.

@@rires6661 Thank you so much for sharing your experience. Only this way we can learn from each other👍 ... and it's good to know that you're not alone struggling with the frame rates etc. until we hopefully master this one day🤞

Some nice footage here, spoilt only by the monotonous and repetative music
