However, the all too common mispronunciations of words like "demeanor" (demm-enor) or "bosom" (bah-zum), as well as pronouncing simple words like "man" as "mee-an", compromises the quality of the listener's experience. Watch those vowel sounds! If you don't know how to pronounce a word, look it up. A voice actor must be aware of their weaknesses and try to articulate in a more universally pleasant way. This narrator is hugely preferable to the narrator for the Audible book. That narrator shouts or whispers, incredibly annoying.
This is hugely unsatisfactory. The story is a thing of beauty, and the narrator cannot be understood.
Better not to have uploaded it at all.
